[Problem] Pop-Up ads

I've had this problem for some time now, and I'm yet to solve the problem.
I have went through my extensions, cleared cache and cookies, went through all my programs, monitored installed software and went through some files. I have this problem even though my browser is set to always block pop-ups..

I'm using Google Chrome (the problem is also on my Firefox, though I don't use it) , Windows OS.SP3.

They don't seem to belong to a specific group/company. Just random ones each time. Any help?

Look up the addons for chrome and firefox and get adblocker.

Already did that, they come up anyways, and it's more effort to block them than to exit them.

Your computer is probably infected with an adware, so you should run an Anti-Virus program. Also, I recommend you install AdBlock for Chrome and FireFox.

I had a similar problem, except they were all links on every website. At first I got Adblocker, and I even upgraded my browser. That worked for a while, and then I cleared every add on that I didn't even know of. That seemed to work for me. If that doesn't work, I'd just run an Anti-Virus program just in case it's a virus causing the problem.

Scan for adware/virus,
also look through your programs and make sure you didn't
install any 3rd party applications.
