No, this is not a Obito is really just Izuna in Obito's body and he is actually the real Tobi theory.

I was an original Obito=Tobi theorist, like all the way from the beginning of Tobi. And considering the fact that when Madara greeted Obito he called him "Obito", not "Izuna" I think it's safe to say Tobi is really Obito.

But, I just feel that Izuna has a bigger part to play in this whole story. No, I do not think that Izuna is alive, but he has to have a big part in this. Maybe Obito is his great-grandson, or maybe he didn't actually sacrifice himself, I seriously don't know.

But the fact that we, at one time, compared Naruto to the 1st Hokage and Madara and Izuna to Sasuke and Itachi its hard to just skip over a character as much as we have Izuna. We haven't exactly develped the 1st Hokage greatly or nearly as much as Madara but at least he has been seen more than Izuna.

Theories? Thoughts? This is just my opinion, I'd love to hear yours. If you don't agree why not?

IMO, Izuna died like Madara said he did, but when Madara unlocked the Rinnegan, he revived him with Rinne Tensei. But since Madara couldn't use Izuna's old rotted out eyeless corpse, he found him a new body, and he's been using bodies ever since then

I'm not obsessed with Izuna. 2 weeks ago I was fighting off Izuna theorists with everything I could. But he can't just be completely omitted from the story. He has some part to play and we aren't done hearing about him. Maybe he inspired Madara. And how come Izuna died after giving up his eyes? Obito was able to remove an eye and it didn't kill him. The Madara/Izuna story is not done being explained. Sorry if you disagree but we have yet to hear a 1st person point of view about Izuna/Madara from Madara.

I don't think Izuna has any part of this at all. Izuna was portrayed to be something like Itachi personality wise. He was dedicated to his clan and sacrificed his self for his clan and his brother. I think this is why Madara and Sasuke share that kind of link.

This got me thinking, there is still a whole lab full of Sharingans, what if they use them? Remember, Tobi managed to give all the jinchūriki a sharingan(although that could be because he was controlling them so they have the same eyes as him), so why couldn't they revive past Uchiha and give them eyes as needed? Just a thought.

I totally agree. I was saying the only part of Izuna I WANT in this is Madara's eyes. All the Tobito haters have lead me to dislike a character that has, so far, had little importance and I would normally feel impartial about.
