I believed it like you did but Nexus confirmed it to me when you first brought the issue to my attention. It was then confirmed by -Minato-. Tbh, its the first time I'm using that assumption/ability.

Supposedly, from what I understand, once you go through the 1st semestre and learn the *insert diagnosis method* you learn how to feel and sense your own chakra flow and detect when its unbalanced. While the ability exists to detect injuries or illness, it also allows you to detect unbalances and disturbances in your chakra from other natures, like for example genjutsu. Then its just a case of forcefully, through chakra control, halt your chakra flow momentarily and restore its original "frequency".


This was the explanation given to me by Nexus himself when I questioned him about the issue. At the time, if you remember, it was something that both you and me discussed about something that -Minato- had said. So unless Nexus himself retracts his statements, its valid.
