I think he used mangekyo to send amaterasu into another dimanesion.. And yeah obviously Madara can use space/time like kamui.. but unlike kamui, it just sends you somwhere and not the object.

but Sasukes better off without some artificial power... he always basically relied on the curse seal.

Ive wondered That about tobi using kamui and kakashi using whatever Tobi does
I think Kakashi used his mangakyou when entering the area with amaterasu because he wasa preparing for another fight and wanted to end it quick
I think he just knows about amaterasu because jiraiya sealed part of it up and im not sure how he knows the name maybe that attack is more known than we think
But Kakashis and Tobis jutsu almos seems like its an opposite, Kakashi sends things in another dimmensinon while tobi sends himself through space so im not sure,
What would happen is kakashi used Kamui on himself just on a bigger scale?
