What kind of book did you think it was? Last time I picked it up, I was several chapters in before I realized that I actually had things I had to do. I can't read it unless I have some time to spare, and somehow, no matter how many times I read it, it's just as awesome as the first time. ^_^ Each sentence makes you want to read the next one, and it's mostly because of how interesting the wording is. There's just something about it that cannot be explained, you must experience it for yourself.

Well, this is one of them. ^_^ The LotR trilogy is good too, but I found that there were a lot of boring places...especially in Mordor. The Hobbit is just one big, exciting adventure, and there aren't many places that are boring, if any.

Who said I wasn't a teacher? I'm not, but one learns more from teaching. The thing that people don't often realize is that teachers are also in school, not just the students.

It's an awesome book, and there's some really cool stuff in it...like a dragon, a battle between five armies, a riddle contest in a dark cave (and the stakes are high )...did I mention there was a dragon? Lots of burgling too...well, not too much, but when you have an expert burglar, one must burgle something.

I'm sorry but I couldn't help but notice Dragon!? Is the hobbit worth reading for the dragon battle or should I stick with the inheritance of Christpher Polini

-_- "Is the dragon battle worth it?" He askes...are you kidding me right now? Dude, it's Tolkien! The dragon battle itself is just a part of it, the story is absolutely amazing. I can't believe I'm running across so many people that haven't read the Hobbit! *pulls hair out*

Drop everything that you're doing, and go procure yourself a copy...right now. Go online and read it for free if you have to (but the free versions seem to have some missing periods and words smashed together...I don't know why but there are errors as you read which affects the experience :/). I just...really?...you haven't read Tolkien?...really?...someone get Seth Meyers over here, we need a really moment right now.
