Well, the wizard is good...due to his evil powers. So I'm guessing you're also a wizard of sorts to have cast such a spell on your words...I'll vote after I've thought about it for a while and finished reading both of them.

O.O That's a lot of animals! O.O Also sounds like a lot to clean up after. Too bad your bird flew away... I remember a bird we had took off once, but it's wings weren't fully grown out after being clipped from the pet shop, so it just landed on a nearby fence and we were able to get it in a cage. ^_^
