Sasuke's response suggests he has fought tobi before, a question to ask is was this training or not?
Was he serious with tobi or was tobi strengthening sasuke??
Does sasuke have some new moves up his sleeve?

Also I have only just remembered, but when sasuke "beat" itachi and tobi talked to him sasukes amaterasu didn't go through tobi.

This means a few possible things.

1.Tobis ability to have attacks go right through him isnt automatic-he consciously has to do it, and amaterasu took him off guard
2.Amaterasu isnt affected by his "transparency" technique


I'm starting to consider tobi can only be defeated by a true uchiha.

As much as i hate sasuke, even i have to admit defeat that he is smart, when hes fighting he knows patterns and can usually figure out a ninjas abilities very fast, but even sasuke is stumped on tobis powers, and even kakashi only made a suspicious guess of time/space jutsu.

Sasukes sharingan should be able to see time/space jutsu at play surely??

While i have no evidence i think itachi "implanted" naruto and sasuke with half a "key" each and they have to work together to make the ninja world better.

Something reaks of planned futures, its as if tobi has made a painstakingly complicated plan messing with clans etc for a future event.

To think his attack on konoha all them years ago was simply preliminary work, not some random attempt.

sasuke would not have seen the jutsu because his sharingan was not active

but as someone recently showed me karin is not as useless as i thought her abilities are perfect for monitoring the area around them and she only noticed tobi the moment he got there so sasuke would not be able to notice faster than her

maybe EMS looks like a normal Sharingan and you don't have to activate it.

When Itachi used Tsukuyomi vs Kakashi the very first time .. we didn't see his MS activated .. just normal sharingan. :D:D:D

Madara obviously has some super advanced jutsu.. whether it's time/space or whatnot. Could be something along the lines with what Kakashis packing tbh ^^
