I think I found out how, Tobi/Obito got the strength to fight Fourth hokage, at the young age of 13-15.

Here we can see, that Tobi/obitos arm has been hit by a rasengan.

Yes. now look at this http://www.narutobase.net/manga/Naruto/503/3 <-- His arm was destroyed by a simple rasengan I think.. And we all know it was zetsu stuff dripping out, which would explain only one thing. ZETSU Saved obito! Zetsu must have merged with Obito, thats why he knew so much stuff, that would explain how the hell he was so powerfull in a young age.

And in the war, he must have gotten an arm sewed on like Deidara, its possible as we have seen with him. And I mean he needed zetsu to do the gorilla tactics and stuff in the wars, thats why he isnt " one " with obito. Giveing him chakra etc.

I think tobi/obito is already strong before he fight minato... see the link http://www.narutobase.net/manga/Naruto/242/18 you can see that compare to kakashi he kill the ninja with 1 shot. Because of his sharingan he became strong and before he fight minato he trained himself until he got MS. The zetsu thing is only for giving him complete body or complete arm.. a ninja without hands cannot perform seals like orochimaru who wish his hands to be cured that results to become his power less.

^This, He didn't have the strength to fight him he just survived him, He had an OP technique that he thought was unstoppable and got cocky, Minato was his wake up call, It was the biggest learning experience for him that's why he's done his best to avoid combat since then by manipulating Akatski to do all the fighting for him.

This I can defiantly see, however to the main post. I agree with you on Obito and Zetsu have some type of mix. Obito cleary says his entire right side of his body was crushed, and zetsu probably had something to do with why his side is all messed up. Could explain the power Obito has is also some of Zetsus.

Adding to my post could also explain why the right side of Zetsu is black ( as in the right side has more human details then the right does) could be that its the part that Obito has? That is a just a theory
