I think what Kushina meant when she told him to pick someone like her was her way of saying pick a girl who will protect you with her very own life if she has to. When she says don't pick a weird one, Hinata fit into that category briefly at the beginning but his opinion of her changed and he doesn't think she's weird anymore. He really likes Hinata as a person because she cares. I think Naruto likes Sakura because she's determined to make her dreams come true in a similar way to Naruto being determined to make his dreams come true...

Well heck naruto is gonna have a complete change of heart and go for hinata huh? You all myself included know that's just a dream I would like to see that too but it simply ain't happening. Minato got the girl he wanted not the other way around guys naruto will get the girl he wants. Let's be real narutos power has always been to change people to make them realize what they think they want isn't what they really want he shows them how they lie to themselves just like how he is changing sakura and making her realize she truly loves him....but I think the main concern of this manga is friendship not love. The end is gonna be all about naruto and sasuke finally working together to put an end to the madness of their world friendship will prevail and the love story will take the back seat.

at this thread, Naruto already chose Sakura, he had always chosen her, if he ever even thought about going with Hinata, they would already be together since she loved him from the begining. If you remember, that filler episode when Naruto met some kunoichi from...Nadeshiko I think he had to marry some freak but he explained he is already in love with a girl though it is one-sided love. Thats definetely Sakura.

as far as this forum goes and that god damn panal....STOP POSTING THIS THREAD!!! ive seen it like 4 times in the last 2 weeks people!!!

no one can be certain who will end up with who in the manga if anyone will end up together but ones things certain, kishi likes to have surprises but he doesnt change his themes and setups. has naruto given up the dream of hokage?no. has naruto given up saving konoha?no. has he given up on sasuke?no. did he give up on gaara? no. did he give up on kurama? no. has he ever given up on anything???? NO. there is a 99.9% chance kishi WONT change the fact that naruto loves sakura because naruto doesnt change his mind. his mind wont change about her, but he loves her enough that if she doesnt pick him and does choose sasuke, he would be happy and if naruto wanted to be with hinata, as long as it made naruto happy, sakura would do it. Did kishi just put sai questioning naruto on his feelings for sakura for no reason? no. did he put yamato telling sakura about her hidden feelings towards naruto when she ran at the fox? no. did kishi have naruto risk his life to save sakura about a billion times just to have him not love her in the end or for her not to return her feelings? not likely. Naruto's proven his love a million times over so not going through that.

did sakura just ran at naruto in fox form because she thought he was cute and cuddly? no. it was because she saw how oro bribed him with sasuke and seeing him in that much rage and pain over the mention of sasuke sent sakura into suicide mode like hinata (people dont view it that way because hinata's was more dramatic)

did sakura vow to kill sasuke for her own selfish sake? no. she confessed to naruto because shes worried about him and wants him home safe and not worrying about the world. she did not react like someone who was lying about the whole confession, considering she got pissed when naruto made that comment because she thought he was referring to her feelings. she was desperate to take care of sasuke in a way that wouldnt hurt naruto because she knew that if he knew the village was planning on hunting him down..naruto would have went ape shit but naruto doesnt know til after sai tells him what sakura's intentions were. she did this to not cause naruto more pain. People "only" view the confession part and automatically say it was a lie. Naruto could have just as easily been pointing out sakura was lying about her intentions, not just or possibly only the confession part.

Why does sakura look sad while shes healing hinata? thats probably not just thrown in there for no reason, she looks pitiful after hearing hinata's confession.

Who does Sakura think complimented her forehead in the beginning of the very first chapters? She THINKS Sasuke did. This is important...its got to be. One of the many parallels between her and Kushina (im getting to that one) is the fact that when kushina fell in love with minato, it was because he commented on something that she hated. He called her hair beautiful. What did naruto disguised as Sasuke, say to Sakura? He likes her charming forehead or something. How differently would this series have played out if Sakura knew that tiny detail?

Sakura doesnt look at Sasuke or any other guy like she does Naruto. Everytime something happens between Naruto and Sakura, when Sakura is praising, admiring, etc Naruto, she always has that gentleness Shikaku speaks of to Shikamaru. Thats not in there for no reason.

Sakura isnt modeled after the stereotypical tsundere girl without reason. Her creational purpose was to serve as Naruto's love interest and the heroine of the story. WHAT MORE SAYS IT THAN THAT.

Not to mention all the Kushina and Sakura parallels. google the kushina sakura parallel by deviant art...shes got the most detailed and phenomenal proof you guys will be seeking prove this correlation. Its long as shit, but i know your just going to probably flame versus actually read it so im not going to bother. I READ both parallels between hinata sakura kushina and sakura is BY FAR the closest to resembling her. If i have too ill bring out direct examples. Anyways though my opinion on all of this crap!

1st because i hate Sakura since episode / chapter 1 (no, really. no charakter development, just crying for stupid ass Sasuke who doesn't even understand what his brother was trying to do, what his death really meant, even after he told him like 50 times that he did everything for Konoha, and Sakura is like I don't know.. plain stupid, SORRY.)

2nd because Naruto was all like rampaging after Hinata told him that she loves him and "died" after -> that's when he went into full Kyuubi-Mode like being all red and stuff

3rd because Sakura lied to his face about loving him just so that he would stay safe or whatever, just *****es do that, really

4th because Hinata truly loves him with all her heart. isn't Naruto about something like this? (and not about some heartbreaking, pink-haird whatever)
