I agree the films made by Burton lacked the realism of Nolan's trilogy which was enhanced by Heaths incredible performance.

they are different, jack played the classic joker (from the comic) and made it in an amazing way, heath created a new joker suitable for our time (dark and crazy lol) but was also amazing. so i guess it depends on what kind of joker would you prefer ..... me ..... i love the old classic joker (jack) and his iconic laugh lol

Jack Nicholson was just more creepy for me. I preferred him.

I sensed some Avatar bias there but never mind, I love Mark Hammil's voice too.

Yeah, J.Nicholson is closer to the comics but Heath Ledger's performance is iconic imo. He made Joker look like one of the greatest villain ever. His portrayal, mannerisms & expressions still give me goosebumps. RIP
