[Predictions] Naruto Manga Chapter 602 Discussion and 603 Predictions

I'll be generous and say 3. All this really was, was Obito saying "I wanna go home" and Madara giving his little speech. One thing we did learn though is that Madara in fact did give his eyes away, to Nagato possibly?

Everything makes sense about that except for why nagato's implanted Rinnengan for some reason went back to looking like normal eyes until he awakened them in the scene we saw where he protected his friends, around the time they met Jiriyah.

the one eye that Madara got - it was Shisui's.

I think Kishi is doing a good job and not because my predictions are correct.
We now know that Obito became Tobi with a Zetsu cast and that Madara is basically a rinnegan statue like Pein.
We also know that Madara took Izuna's eyes but gave them to Nagato as well.


If you don't understand or like it, read something else, stop pestering us people who actually enjoy this Manga series

This chapter was not that great. yeah it had some good scenes but didnt really explain much it was just introducing and well needs to explain how he slipped into madara cave or whatever. Obito got lucky na it makes no sense he should have died

Now we know why Madara had to lay low and why Obito couldn't save Rin from dying. Madara was attached to the chakra absorbing thing and Obito was missing half his body.

I think it's obvious that Nagato got Madara's eyes, which fits well in to the timeline and explains why a young kid had the Rinnegan.

I'm expecting the question of where Madara got his "new" eye to be irrelevant. My knee jerk reaction was that it was Shisui's but that doesn't make sense from a timeline perspective.

My only relief that Obito is Tobi is that it explains Tobi's silly side.

It's kinda sad to see a cool guy like obito in this state btw he's very similar to naruto. we'll just watch how did he end up like madara.

I don't think we ever saw Nagato with "normal" eyes. I think he had the Rinnegan from when we first see him in the flashback story. At first, Kishi just drew him with hair covering his eyes.

I have a question....if Madara has given out his original Rinnegan Eyes(To Nagato most probably), how come he is still able to control the Gedo Mazo Statue behind him to give him an endless supply of Chakra??

Interesting chapter, got to think Rin's death was the catalyst in Obito's demise. We've seen how Naruto coped with seeing a comrade die (well he thought Hinata had died during the Pain fight), he went all kyubi and was fortunate he had the fourth to guide him back. Obito just had Madara (or whomever it is) and his ideals to save him from his pain...just a thought.

Obito really loved Rin and i suppose that was what convinced him to join up with Madara, hoping to pull a fast one on the old man later on, but Rin's death changed everything...imo, everybody has his own idea/definition of what peace, love and a better world is and also the process of achieving these goals..the road to hell is paved with good intentions then?

Now I know why tobi told sasuke that there are some things even itachi doesn't know about him, my guess is that while he was being burnt by amaterasu he slipped through to that madara's cave and changed his body or should I say refill...?lol anyway he is also almost edo or immortal.

I rewatched the anime episode recently and I am 99% sure that he was shown with regular eyes just before awakening the rinnengan... but of course the Anime is not canon.

First impression: worst chapter evar! It seems so fake. And what's with the left side of Obito's face (his left)? Why is it so messed up when the left side of Tobi's face is just fine?

I'll sleep on it and give it another whirl tomorrow before making my final judgments. Hopefully I'll awake to find it's only a dream.
