First impression: worst chapter evar! It seems so fake. And what's with the left side of Obito's face (his left)? Why is it so messed up when the left side of Tobi's face is just fine?

I'll sleep on it and give it another whirl tomorrow before making my final judgments. Hopefully I'll awake to find it's only a dream.

I thought this was a fake when I read it first, but everyone here is convinced! Just sloppy! Bad, bad, bad! All these bits of rubbish information just hammered in. Nothing unexpected, nothing exciting. It's like Kishi just read all these old Tobi is Obito theories and is lazily plodding through the stupidity of it all, chapter by chapter. Not good enough.

Next I'm hoping to find out where Oro and Sasuke are heading. I still believe we're going to see the previous 4 Hokages come back, as well as Naruto getting the Other half of Kurama's chakra.

By his eyes Borrowed he means that they are his brothers eyes comon guys you do recall he was going blind you know.. and in my opinion he lost one of his eyes because he used izanagi to escape his near death experience from the 1st hokage.

Somewhat of a meaningless chapter. At least we learnt more about Madara.

What a sad chapter - one can see why both felt so hopeless, but it was their choice to continue to live at that price.
I wonder how Madara met Nagato and why he chose to give him his eyes? Is it possible that his sharingan turned to rinnegan only after he implanted them in Nagato?

Is it just me or does young Obito remind you a lot of naruto? They both have same hairstyle, same goofiness and personality, same drive to protect friends and same love triangle. Also I bet you Obito will end up saving kakashi in the end just like he did when he was a child, and actually die for real this time probably protecting them from Edo madara sasuke or someone else .

I feel sorry so sorry for Obito... :/

i feel so sorry for both Obito and Madara.... the guy ended up stuck in that cave connected to some Hashirama life support system and with serious enough depression to come up with the weirdest/craziest plan in a century or so... it's really pitiful to see THE Madara Uchiha, one of the greatest shinobi of all times, in such a physical but most important mental state.

I KNEW IT! His body is from HARASHIMA'S DNA. All though Zetsu theories were legit as well & I half believed them.

Madara was saying it was a miracle that Obito's body "slipped away" from the rubble, perhaps he did awaken MS to save the other half of his body and then escape that cavern.

DAYUMN Team Kakashi got lucky/unlucky? Obito just had to get buried in the one place where there was an old guy who does amputations underground...

When i first saw his other eye I was like "ok he used Izanagi to survive his battle with the 1st" and then he said that he gave his eyes to someone else.

Now, when Nagato was "attacked" he said that he didn't remember anything. Perhaps Madara knocked him out, killed the two leaf ninja and gave him some old/new eyes as a present? lol

So I suppose that Tobito was right in saying to Konan that "I gave him those eyes"

This also opens questions about the revival jitsu that the Rinnegan uses, could Madara use it before or was it something that the SO6P could use but Madara couldn't and so trusted Obito to tell Nagato about it... who knows.

And finally next chap we may see how Obito got twisted. At first I thought "genjitsu" but if Madara's dead that wouldn't work. So Madara either changed Obito's dogma himself or Obito went insane trapped with Herbert's cousin underground for an extended period of time.

I gave that chapter a 5/5. We asked for answers and we finally start to get them . Why complain? We learned how in the world Madara is still alive in his state, it was stated that half of Obito's body is an artificial Hashirama body, that Madara gave his eyes to someone else(probably Nagato) and we'll learn more soon. Madara couldn't tell all his secrets and plans from their first encounter. I think after tricking him, with the whole " a world where there is only peace-love-winners " thing, to help him with his plan he slowly started brainwashing him. I also loved the parts where Obito acted so much Naruto-like. Come to think of it, we saw that this thing started with Obito wanting to protect his friends. Just like Naruto. Naruto and Obito were the same, then crossed different paths in order to fulfill their dreams. I like this kind of contrast between the main hero and the main villain at the moment.

Flashbacks are always borin, I wish they just showed Madara manipulating Obito instead of it endin with him havin hope he will see Rin again. Madara said he awaken his Rinnegan before his death, so did he die or drift away underground. Those artificial bodies does Madara use those

What im starting to think is... What if Obito is under genjutsu? He hasnt been in contact with anyone, so no one can release him from genjutsu. Seeing this chapter makes me realize that obito still was a good guy, still wanting to team with Kakashi (the 2-eyes max power madara says).... So what if he is not... "bad" but just under genjutsu? Madara would have done it in a way obito have the "you left rin die" thing...

Also, Madara killing Nagato's parents, putting him under genjutsu, and after that transplanting his eyes making nagato think it was himself who awakened those eyes.

Plausible?

-Obito didn't follow Madara from the get go and wanted to go back to Konoha

So, either:
1) a 2-tomoe sharingan suddenly changed to MS, then reverted back to a 2-tomoe sharingan (ridiculous), or
2) Kakashi was wrong and Obito's phasing ability is not the same jutsu as his warping, the latter evidently being a variant of Kamui.

that wasn't a tree he was connected to it was the mazou statue and it must have ran out of chakra and then he died and that's how Obito got the statue cause Madara was attached to it to stay alive.

Well this finally answered some questions but the answers were pretty obvious...

The explanation of "You survived by miracle" or something like that I still think it's not sufficient... Hope Kishi will properly explain HOW he survived being crushed by those rocks...
And if Madara couldn't move from that cave, how exactly did he give his eyes to Nagato?
