I don't see how an adult Madara's eyes can fit into Nagato as he was a child then. What was going through Nagato's parents' heads when Madara came knocking on their door if this did indeed happen? How come Nagato didn't mention this to Jiraiya?

Eye size stays the same from when you are young to adult.

I dont think madara is a bad person by heart, he wants to make the world a better place but what he wants is puppet world, his ideology is wrong, probably naruto will show him the light, as he does with others usually..

I think obito was left in charged of the moon eye plan & find nagato too keep an eye on him & when the time was right tell him about the plan . Now i know nagato was older than obito , but when yahiko died that was the time to star manipulate him, just like madara did to obito when rin died .

This chapter was very informative BUT it still leaves me a little confused. I understand that Madara did survive his fight with the 1st and how he managed to stay alive after all these years. I also understand that it's very likely Madara gave his eyes to Nagato. It somewhat expalins how Obito survived, how he was treated and is leading to why he chose a different path.

What I don't understand is how Madara lived to such a ripe old age yet he was resurrected as a young man. My understanding was that you were revived the way you were before death, at the very least, same age range.

Someone in this forum got bashed for saying so but I still think Izuna plays some part in this storyline. I don't know how it would fit YET but I don't think Izuna died when everyone thinks he did.....we'll see.

Whoever thought this chapter was gonna be more than it was is an idiot...

All this chapter was is just a basic intro as to how Obito became what he is today, which is NECESSARY because otherwise we wouldn't be in this WAR right now in Naruto. Madara is basically implanting the idea of revenge in Obito's head from the get-go, and Obito has been shown to have some revelations.

This is, so far, the most interesting flashback we've had in a while. We all want to know how Obito survived. Here we all thought we'd never see Obito outside of Kakashi Gaiden, yet he was revealed to be Tobi. This just goes to show how far many if not most (wouldn't say all) elements are planned in advance in Naruto as Kakashi Gaiden was written many years ago.

Chapter was great. I am even more interested in the next now because I want to see where this is heading and how Obito got powerful enough to control the Kyuubi in just a few short years (maybe 2? Obviously Madara's tutoring by this point). He went from having a crushed body to being able to defeat Minato. He obviously didn't during their skirmish, but if he had the Kyuubi WITH him while he was facing off Minato that would have been a different story.

There is no fcking height issue with Obito against Minato.

Pay attention to Page 15, a "Suit" looking like Zetsu on the right, Madara told Obito that both can't leave this place with their current states of BODY. Thus Madara gave Obito that Zetsu-Suit (it has holes in it where the arms are probably also for the legs) to stay functional. That Zetsu Goo on Obitos left side is just simply there to keep him alive otherwise he would have been dead already after he got crushed.

The height of that Zetsu matches with Obito on the Minato fight.

ahh chapter 602 was great loved how obito was striving to leave even in his current state...and the shinigami convo was hilarious obito I DONT WANNA DIE!!!! lol and i believe that he wont take full consideration into what madara was explaining just yet....i also believe that obito is gonna get a bad awakening when he actually can leave that place hes gonna find out about (rins death)...and then thats when he thinks back on what madara said and swears his vengeance against konoha and changing the ninja world into what madara visions it should be like....poor obito but these are only thoughts
