Madara is the only shinobi to unlock rinnegan

So I know this isn't confirmed yet but Madara did give his rinnegan away for safe keeping. It is almost certain that he gave them away to Nagato. Nagato couldn't have developed them on his own because he was born from the uzumaki line and we know that the rinnegan is just an evolved form of the sharingan. This means that it is not a mutation that shows up randomly or a gift bestowed upon someone who will either balance the world out or destroy it according to prophecy. While the rinnegan requires something, as of yet unknown, to unlock it like the mongekyo sharingan,there has been only one person in the history of shinobi to unlock it since the sage of six paths. MADARA UCHIHA. Imo of him this puts him at the top almost of every shinobi who ever lived except for a certain few. :D

the rinnegan is not simply an evolved form of rinnegan. The sage of six paths was born with it, which means you dont nessasarily need a sharingan. Madara just happen to learn how to evolve his sharingan into a rinnegan. But nagato unlocked his when he was a child (2nd shinobi war) and madara didnt unlock his until shortly before his death (after third shinobi war).

Apparently you need two of your own eyes to unlock the rinnegan so Tobi couldn't unlock his unless he took Kakashi's eye back.
Also Sasuke ulocked EMS I feel the rinnegan is next for him.

All dojutsu is derived from the sage of six paths eyes, over generations they were diluted and branched off into byakugan, sharingan with rinnegan being the original. All madara was doing was refining his eyes to their true form. And if you've read 602 today then you would know that he only has 1 sharingan when he's an old man because he stated that he had entrusted his own eyes to someone. now i'll grant you it might not be nagato but who else with a rinnegan do you know?

You don't know the sage was born with the eyes, he could have got them after sealing the juubi inside himself..

The Rinnegan was passed down to the Elder son. While the younger son inherited the sages body. That was specifically said in the manga. Elder son = Sages eyes and Younger son = Sages body. The Rinnegan is the sages eyes, so it only makes sense that a Uchiha would unlock them. But there is obviously a catch. There must be some reason why Susanoo is said to be extremely rare even if gaining the MS. I think that is because Amateratsu(Sun),Tsukuyomi(Moon) and Susanoo(God) has something with gaining the Rinnegan. That and also the fact that the EMS is required according to the Stone Tablet. This would explain why Tobi was so interested in Sasuke. It would also explain Tobi's remarks about Sasuke becoming stronger then Nagato and Tobi's plan to sync Sasuke to the Gedo Mazo(which Sasuke will HAVE to have the Rinnegan to do this). It would also explain why Tobi wanted Sasuke to gain Itachi's eyes so bad. Last but not least, it would explain why Tobi stated to Zetsu that the most important thing was to get hold of Sasuke. Tobi said that Sasuke was the most important objective even more important then gaining the tailed beast.

This means that like Madara, Sasuke too has inherited the sages power. It probably means the ability to go beyond the sharigan according to what the stone tablet says about the EMS. It claims that through the EMS a new Dojutsu is awakened, I recall Itachi stating this.

Lmao what Manga are you reading? Chapter 602 pretty slapped us in the face with Madara giving his rinnegans to Nagato. Nagato didnt awaken them, his hair was just covering them and when we saw them everyone just thought he awakened them, we know better now well except for you.

To OP well this is all leading to Sasuke awakening the Rinnegan, he has the EMS it wont be too hard for him to go to the next phase.
