i think when naruto and kurama meld their chakra together that will best the best episode by far... and when he meets the tailed beasts..

the one where Lee goes 4th gate

Yeah he was the first person to ever touch Gaara. But Gaara got lucky as hell. I still think Lee shoulda won

The flashback where Tobi invades Konoha is the perfect episode. That is the one I always show people if they want to see the show.

Season 1 - The fights between Naruto & Sasuke, then probably filler the episode with them on a bug hunt with Hinata (Hiruzen vs Oro was epic as well)
Season 2 - Naruto going Sage Mode and actually appearing useful in a fight (instead of using Kage bullshit no jitsu), Sasuke vs Raikage was pretty intense as was Garra vs Diedara
