Tobi/Madara has eternal MS, and Danzou's is just a normal 3 way sharingan.

we havent seen Tobi with MS. He put amaterasu off, probably with MS but we havent seen it

We know one thing and it is that Danzous eye is obviously transplanted somehow since he's been covering it up like this, similar to how Kakashi does it to prevent it from consuming chakra (Since it's not deactivate if you're not a true heir of the bloodline).

It could very well be that the reason he's after Kabuto and anxious about the Orochimaru stuff is that he somehow used his techniques to fuse some of the remains of Obito with his own already damaged body in order to gain the Sharingan.

^ summary of what people have been saying and what I think. One focal point I'd like to make is that i highly doubt Obitos personality has anything to do in this matter at all and that it's only about his physical body.

As for what all this has to do with Madara, well there's obviously a connection somewhere but the physical bodies are not the same imo.

Maybe danzo found the body of obito and steal his eye and implant it into him.

He want the body os he can perfectly use the sharingan unlike kakashi that can also perfectly use the sharingan but easily get tired because his body is not uchiha.

Yeah, so far the theory that Danzo used an Orochimaru justsu on Obito seems like the most likely candidate but if so, wouldn't he look WAY younger? Obito is the same age as Kakashi.

Not only one side of Obito's body is crushed. His whole body was crushed. The initial wave of rocks crushed his right side but later there was a second wave of rocks that crushed his whole body:

Danzo isn't Obito. Obito is dead.

No, he wants the body to because he gets the sharingan by taking over the body thats what he tried to do with sasuke and itachi
