Sakura and Hinata comparison

sakura gets saved: has an excuse.
with zetsus she was emotionally thrown off guard by the zetsu clones cover story of wanting to save her husband. merely surprised and naruto interrupted her. she even had her arms up ready to fight
hinata fell to the ground defeated and waited to die before naruto came in and blocked the swords

hinata wades out, admits shes selfish and gets herself killed uselessly which puts the entire village in danger despite the fact she knew naruto had a raging monster in his stomach ready to tear shit up, and naruto is still no better off than when she was a mile away
sakura: nowhere near the fight, had to have a hyuga tell her what was happening, and still took it upon herself to get people to evacuate and lead the rescue mission for hinata, saving her life

hinata: entire character revolves around a love interest whos never shown the slightest interest in her, and all she wants is to hold his hand and fight the war for him. yeah thats right girls. if theres a war going on to save the world as you know it, fight for the guy who said a few lines of dialogue to you. sure your whole family might be DEAD and your comrades might be risking their lives for you but hey thats of no consequence compared to NARUTO KWOON
sakura: character revolves around relationships and emotion. with sasuke, its a tragic onesided dark love where she has been exposed to both his best of times, and worst of times and still loves him regardless and wil soon be proven right as naruto prepares to TnJ him and take madara down together with sasuke. her character hasnt been revolving around him since the end of part 1. and even then she had various aspects to her character (determination to never lose, her growing ninja ability, intelligence, friendships with lee and ino, seeking training under tsunade, growing friendship/admiration of naruto despite not liking him initially) and has grown/developed/evolved over time showing she isnt just another fangirl fooled by a pretty face as she even saw him crazed, laughing and declaring war on her people. even then she has the fortitude to put naruto and her village first, and use her skills to try and poison him. could you imagine hinata trying to kill naruto? i cant even imagine the emotional toll losing her village, mentor, comrade and the trust of her best friend took. thats another difference. sakura has been exposed to such trauma in her life more so than the other kunoichi in the village and STILL she's serious, self confident, calm minded and taking on the leadership role when needeed in the medical tent, even putting in work to figure out zetsus powers. hinata despite the supposed confession is still a blushing stuttering mess near naruto. so much for the whole "you make me stronger naruto" aspect of her character. first thing she does when seeing him is break down and actually call herself useless. what did sakura do when presented with her uselessness next to her three titan teammates? ignore it and continue fighting with all shes got in this 4th world war.

hinata: shouldnt be a ninja, emotionally weak, barely in the story and when she is its either fodderized to a new power or needing to be rescued from fodder.blindly worships some dude for no explained reason
sakura; important, powerful, helped destroy an akatsuki member, saved hundreds of lives, is the calm strict foil to naruto's pervy personality and the kind nice foil to sasuke's cold jerkass demeanour but has the fortitude to see sasuke's inner goodness. now consider for a moment the situations reversed. sasukes the down on his luck loser and narutos the cool badass with rinnegan. would hinata have still fallen for him? we know sakura would have because she doesnt give a shit if sasuke's powerful or not. she would have had sasuke give up on all of that just to keep him around. but with hinata its basically god worship because apparently will of fire gets her hot. lee had the exact same problems and work ethic.its like hinata doesnt even like naruto for naruto but only what she thinks is so great about one single aspect of his personality. and thats it. just concentrating on that aspect. hinatas storyline with her family was completely and utterly dropped in part 2. neji barely acknowledges her. i cant believe anyone would die for her. but i believe it when people jump in front of sakura to take a bullet because we've seen from her character she'd do the same for them and is a respected member of the military.

hinata: whimpers and cowers and cant do anythign till naruto yells at her (im not even kidding)

sakura: all alone against three evil strong sound nins who beat the liviing shit out of lee. stands her ground and manages to save sasukes and narutos lives, fighting to the finish.

hinata: admits all she cares about is naruto and is selfish but seems to not respect his feelings and blatantly thinks only what she thinks about him matters. like naruto is gonna magically wanna hold her hand and hang out after most of his comrades have been brutally murdered and his world half-destroyed. i think theres a few more important things going on hinata than wanting to hold narutos hand
sakura: driven to tears at the mere THOUGHT of inadvertantly causing naruto suffering and immediately guilt trips herself into retracting the promise, even hiding the terrible truth because she knows naruto would become too upset by it and go after akatsuki to get himself killed or worse, captured. does everything she possibly could to stop another naruto vs pain situation, or naruto getting even more emotionally hurt. speech in 563 states she will try to help out naruto no matter what he says (if naruto told hinata to piss off, i think she would do exactly that), and that she gets naruto has been too often saddled with this whole burden. not once did hinata think about how naruto must feel through all this suffering and warfare. sakuras also willing to attack a former comrade alone so that naruto wouldnt have to. again only thinking about narutos feelings and considering them/factoring into her decisions. hinata only thinks about the next time she will see NARUTO KWOON.

sakura: kind considerate loyal to a fault, has a lot of friends, loves someone but doesnt let it control her character (hell last time she even talked about sasuke or his character was more than 150 chapters ago)
hinata: barely interacts with her team, was actually afraid of kiba, her family never even crosses her mind in the war, wimpering, submissive, cant even talk to some guy she thinks is god,

and if your saying to yourself "duh sakuras a main character. course she's more important and interesting than hinata". haters beg to differ. they think she does nothing and has no development. lets look at deidara. thats an excellent side character, entertaining and has a good outlook on life. hes a thousand times better than obito whos a droning generic main villain with generic villain goals and generic "theres no hope" dialogue. we know more about obito but who could we get behind more in the story and invest ourselves in more? deidara.

bottom line: sakura - does everything right that hinata did wrong in terms of character. all kishi needs to do is give saku another major fight and the deal is sealed.

You only see the negative things in Hinata. She developed into a better person. At first she was always shy and couldn't stand up for herself, but after pain arc, she changed that about herself. She admires Naruto because they kinda were the same. Everyone thought they we're useless, but Naruto never gave up and that was the opposite of what hinata did. That's why Hinata wanted to be like Naruto and adopted his Nindo. She fell inlove with him because of her admiration towards him. Plus she wanted to protect him, because he always protected her and she wanted to be acknowledged by Naruto.It doesn't matter if she isn't a good ninja because all that will be irrelevant after the ninja system is gone...

Here is another way to think of it. Had Hinata not gone to fight in order to protect Naruto. He gets captured and all that is left is Bee.

Hinata's feelings for Naruto are in fact explained as she wanted to be both gentle and strong, but due to strict and harsh training (as she was the Hieress of the Hyuga family) and not being extremely gifted she was seen as useless by her father and it caused a severe lack of self confidence and depression. Where she gave up, she saw Naruto who had nothing alwyas keep going. It inspired her and love grew from what was once admiration. In the end it leads her character to developing to be more self confident and a better ninja.

We also don't know the circumstances that left Hinata vulnerable to the three Zetsus who all had Katanas!!!! Doesn't help a Taijutsu specialist. She has also been fighting on the front lines after a night of standing watch as Neji was too weak to continue. It is simply battle fatigue.

Now after all of this I am not hating at all at Sakura. If she is as great as you are putting her up to be she could have gone to help Naruto too yes? But Having people evacuate was because she had a previous expirience with what was happening. It is the obvious decision and a smart one! Yes she goes to help Hinata as they are comrades!

i didnt read what you wrote but i think hinata is way better in personality wise as well appearance wise as well as strength wise..n dont say sakura is strong. it can be proven that taijutsu user using byakugan is waaaay stronger than a normal taijutsu user
