This was a 3/5 for me just because the first parts were good until the flashback of obito childhood which was pointless and useless and wahtstover

kishi needs to do a special, like the one shot before the road to ninja movie. it seems we are going to keep getting flashbacks & we still need to know about rin, the kiuby, the mask , madaras persuasion , kisame and the mizukage, how nagato fits in the story and a bunch of other stuff

Maybe Tobi used the zetsu bodysuit to impersonate Madara, since zetsus have shown the ability to copy other ninja to the extent where even sensory-types can't tell the difference.
Also when he blocked suigetsu's sword with his arm, he looked down at it, as if curious to see if there's been any damage or maybe suprised that nothing happened.

Too much senseless talk between Obito and the Zetsu. It was somewhat funny all the poo talk and what not. I liked seeing the time progression which was indicated by Obito's hair growth and body healing. It was just alright... 2.5 out of 5.

I was not impressed with this chapter. While it is fun to speculate on whats coming next, I think that most of us are over thinking and over analyzing. Obito doesn't seem to be as complex of a character as we originally thought. He's a thug motivated by p*ssy!!! We are probably going to find out a dumbed down reason for Obito's name change to Tobi. Maybe Rin tried to call Obito by his name while she lay dying and all she could get out was Tobi or maybe white zetsu made fun of his name by repeating it over and over till Obito got annoyed and punched him in the face in mid speech. I can also imagine that Tobirama's dna was used to create the zetsu armor therefore he refers to himself as Tobi...who knows. Again...the answer maybe be way less thought out.

hey did you guys noticed that obito had different mask when he came for kyubi at the time of birth of naruto...or when obito fought with fourth hokage...
I thought there must be some story behind changing his mask....O.o

Brilliant chapter, I really disliked Zetsu till now, all his talk of poo amuses me to no end. Obito with long hair and his first mask, could really have been Obito who faced Minato (seriously?). I agree got a tad confused with the flashbacks, but next weeks chapter promises to be a good one, I can't wait.

Guys do you remember when the Aburame anbu used that secret tech on Tobi's arm and Tobi just pulled it off ? I'm pretty sure that it was the left one. But we've seen that only the right part of Obito was replaced with zetsu parts. His left arm was bandaged but it was only a normal bandage. Does that mean Zetsu has completely merge with Obito by now ? An enhanced Obito/Zetsu could explain how Tobi managed to stop Suigetsu's sword attack with one arm

I also noticed that when he fights against Minato, its the left arm that is destroyed and we see hes arm melting or w.e.. like it was made by zetsu, weird

I loved this chapter. It explains Obito's white goop that comes out of his arm when wounded there. That's been bugging me since the Minato fight.

And I can't wait for the next chapter. Obito wearing Zetsu armor, running in, f*cking the Mist Shinobis' shit up... It's gonna be awesome.

I'm thinking that slightly odd swirl guy is the persona "Tobi" that obito later takes on, because if you remember, Obito as "Tobi" talks funny and saws very random things, and in this chapter he was asking about the mechanical functions of poo... Just something to think about.

i also think,madara order the hit on rin,he send one of the zetsu to kill her

Yup I thought that was weird too. Bah let's just wait Kishi'll tell us in due time. On another note, i think that the reason so many people, myself included, refused to believe Tobi was Obito besides the plotholes ( plotholes can be filled, Kishi is trying right now ) is because it was too obvious. Tobi's name is Obito's reverse in japanese, the S/T etc... No suspense at all. Kishi should have been more discreet. To finally learn it was Obito would be choc and we'd eager and not pissed for some explaining
