Black Zetsu may be a result of Obito's first activation of his teleportation with the zetsu armor. Maybe Black zetsu aborbed some dark chakra from the other dimension. This probably makes no sense but its just a thought.

i think not only madara tried to kill rin but he also tried to kill kakashi. rin probably sacrificed herself so kakashi can escape. obito probably saw kakashi fled from the scene and he automatically assumed that kakashi left rin to die when it was actually her choice to stay

Ok people, don't be so illogical. There is no way Obito would become good all of a sudden m. Keep in mind that over the years he went as far asvto create the akautski AND have pain completely obliterate the hidden leaf. And that's just part of the long list of twisted crimes he has done under the allows "Tobi"/"Madara". He means buisness. Also I predict Initial will kill kakashi "for real this time" and NARUTO will just LOOSE IT.

I also started thinking that Madara probably had Rin killed... Madara knew Obito wanted to get back to her, so what better way to manipulate Obito than through his love for her... As most of you should know, that seems to be the premise of Naruto.. Love breeds hate.

So Madara could have had Rin killed in order to plant the seed of hate into Obito, therefore bending Obito's will to Madaras.

I'd like to see this come true, and Obito find out then release his "Slapa*****" nojutsu all over Madaras face.!

Didn't they already come out and say that Tobi is Izuna still?....I thought it was that the old man was actually Izuna and not Madara, and that the rest so far is not explained. I would think that Izuna takes control of Obito's body.

Obito will probably come to his senses eventually and sacrifice himself to save Kakashi from Madara. Madara will become so strong that Sasuke will get his ass whooped near death and have to pass his eyes to Naruto in order for Naruto to become the new SO6P. This will be the only way that he can redeem himself. This is my prediction.

i think everything has become more interesting,most especially knowing tobi's secret and his connection with madara.what i think about the next manga is that tobi will become more powerful.

Question: why when Obito says "prove to me that you are better" do both Zetsu say "we are watching you"? Maybe they dont trust obito, OR they are saying that madara trusted them and made them watch him and make everything go according to plan AKA kill rin and twist obito. Opinions?

Also why did they let him out? They werent supposed to do that, or were they when kakashi and rin get "attacked"? Also where is madara? He was in the corner but he isnt there anymore, doesnt he die when he gets detached from the statue?

Also on a separate note, doesnt naruto remind you of obito? Same stubborness, love triangle, haircut, love for comrades, childishness and immaturity and blurting out? I think there are a lot of paralells much like in the sannin. Getting very interesting, also who is black zetsu? Theories anyone?

I think why they mean is simply... "We are baby sitting you!" so some how they would have to be better than Obito in some respects. It could be trust or some other things. My question is... What color are these two guys?? Cause Obito asked them "Where is the other white guy?" so there are 3 Zetsu at this point of the story. What happened to them???

Maybe Obito ends up killing Rin himself by some mistake. I doubt she'll recognize him in that zetsu body (they think he's dead anyway), maybe she attacks and he defends himself, accidentally killing her. That would explain why he changed, why he thinks this reality is so bad, and why he doesn't seem to really hold it against Kakashi. He did it himself.

this is how i think its going to go down, obito will rush to were rin/kakashi are, and they will be overwhelmed by a big group of ninjas or something like that, rin will sacrifice herself for kakashi and tell him to run and save himeslf because its already to late for her, obito will arrive right after rin dies or something and see kakashi running away and he will go insane and blame kakashi for rins death, that is when he will go back to madara and want to help him, madara will say something to obito like " if you help me realize my vision of Infinite Tsukuyomi you can make that world anyway you want.. even bring "her" back to life. and that is what will change obitos mind and make him want to be madaras pupil,

The 3rd white Zetsu and another are attacking Kakashi and Rin, but don't necessarily expect to harm them -- just absorb their chakra. Kakashi and Rin are long gone before Obito gets to where the battle occured. By this time, Zetsu is impersonating Kakashi and Rin and causing the Rin-Zetsu to die while the Kakashi-Zetsu runs away angering Obito starting him down his current path. Zetsu was really milking Obito for information during the training so he could be manipulated. We will later find out that the real Rin is still alive, but Kakashi has kept her in hiding or changed her identity after the Zetsu attack in order to keep his promise to Obito.

Similar to what some other people are saying, Obito's Zetsu suit manipulates him and affects his mind driving him further down the evil path. Meanwhile, Rin has dropped off the grid and even Kakashi doesn't know where she is. All the while, special high-level sage training has allowed her to have the ability to know things, kind of like Naruto's sage mode, but more focused. The scroll that Suigetsu found revealed her existence and that Orochimaru was involved in hiding and training her, which is why Sasuke needed to revive him to find "the one who knows everything".

After meeting up with Sasuke they all show up on the battlefield. Rin's sudden presence confuses and distracts Obito who is then mortally wounded by Kakashi (who is also gravely injured). The combination of Naruto's TnJ and the truth of Rin's survival cause Obito to pull a Darth Vader on Madara before he dies. Madara retaliates, but Rin tries to defend Obito. Team Minato is reunited as they die together on the battlefield. However, Madara is severely weakened allowing Naruto and the Konoha 11 to overcome him in an epic battle before he regenerates.

Sasuke, because he's Sasuke, decides he still wants revenge for some obscure reason and assumes control of the Gedou Mazou statue during the confusion of the battle and uses it to occupy the allied shinobi force. Sasuke wages a devastating 1-on-1 battle with Naruto who uses his recently upgraded TnJ on Sasuke followed by intense flashback action. The fight ends with a typical Naruto-biju-dama / Sasuke-susano'o-infused-chidori clash.

... kind of a longshot, but Rin being alive would be a pretty unexpected twist.

:confused:Somebody wrote on here that the mask with swirls is his first mask. The story seems to be leaning towards that but I remember with the fight with minato he had a totally different mask and around the time when itachi met him during the slaugter he had a different mask then too as well.

I don't know if this has been posted but I think the spiraly zetsu sometimes appear as "Tobi". In 358 page 9 you will see Tobi burying mines for Deidara.
