gin's ability was to extend his zanpaktou up to 32 km in a fraction of a second(if i remember corectly).

Wasn't it said that the size of the zanpaktou tells the power of the zanpaktou, but this weren't always true since some could have zanpaktous tht were big as skyscrapers? :S

when isshin cut that hollow,(the grand fisher), he cut it so fast like he didn't even extend his sword at all, but he did, and that was when he said it, even if it wasn't the fraction of a second, it was like it happened in a second, his sword wasn't shown extending, it just showed him cutting the hollow

No, he said the size of ones reiatsu = the size of their zanpakuto. But if Vice captains or Captains did not suppress their reiatsu, their zanpakuto's would be the size of skyscrapers.
