Jason Todd in Young Justice?

A room made for fallen heroes, it looks like. This is an offical picture. I see Artemis, Tula, and I believe the first Blue Beetle.


We also see a Robin. This could be and most likely is Jason Todd. D'ck is Nightwing and Tim is Robin, meaning that during the time skip in the show, there is enough time for Jason to enter and well, die. Does this mean we will see a Red Hood in Young Justice? Also, if in, does this mean we'll see The Outlaws since we have two Roys? One can join Jason and Kory in the Outlaws while one does other Roy things.


This thread is for YJ, DC, and Red Hood fans. I, for one, am excited!

YJ is on a season break and is coming back Sat.

Artemis is Wally's GF, but she isn't dead. She's faking it and only D'ck, Wally, and a double agent Aqualad know it. So, she's incognito with Aqualad and not dead, but they're putting on the show like she is because only three people know the truth.

YJ does pretty good and has some blood sometimes, but nothing near do Under the Red Hood. Jason will be censored alot, but I think his badassness will be intact.

That's what the creators or something said once upon a time. I hope they don't, but we have a long way until S3. No need to stress about it. You'll get your dose of Impulse.

I had this same thought. But I think Cartoon Network, can get away with it on Young Justice. I mean it's the only show on CN that I've seen in recent years, that's had some blood and ACTUAL guns, none of those laser guns. In the season one finale episode, I recall seeing Red Arrow having blood all over his face, from some injuries he may have sustained in a fight with Aquaman and a few other League Members. So, they may be able to pull it off.

The Robin you see is I believe Tim Drake, Jason Todd isn't in the show. Yet atleast.

That couldn't be Tim.

1. It would seem weird to have a giant hologram of Tim, amongst holographs of 3 other heroes who are "dead".

2. The Robin Hologram, has a different uniform, then what Tim is depicted with.

3. Like number 1 states, those other three holograms of Artemis, Tula, and Ted Kord (the first Blue Beetle) are "dead", with the exception of Artemis, so Tim being included amongst them all is a bit ridiculous since he isn't dead.

So it has to be Jason.

Never seen the picture in an episode, since I'm not caught up yet, but it said on the wiki that Robin (Tim Drake) is the current Robin of The Team.

You don't know that.

He exists in the comics currently, so he's doing pretty good. Wally West however doesn't in the New 52, yet he's animated

I can see their reasoning if so, but I think we'll see him animated. Fans love him.

Jason Todd would be an amazing character to add into YJ, but his past is sort of on the "too dark" side for kids to see, that whole censorship issue for t.v. especially kid channels can be a real bummer. CN only gets the exception with Adult Swim and Toonami due to how late they are on.

But then you have to think YJ seems to be vastly darker in comparison to several other kiddie shows out there. Also think of what they did with the Red Lantern Corp in the new Green Lantern series, they edited their oath and also edited Atrositus' past to a degree making it not as dark
