Hakumen follows a rather unique blend of cyborg and samurai. He wears semi-heavy white armor and a muscular body suit with a large collar and the traditional hakama present, ballooning pants common in samurai. His long bright blue hair is tied at the mane. All armored sections feature fully-functional crimson eyes with slit pupils. These eyes are not as much of an intimidation as much as the mask he wears; a completely white, two horned helmet with no features or visor, appearing to have no face at all, a feature that paralyzes even Ragna in fear.
Personality:
Hakumen devotes his entire life to destroying the evils that corrupt the world, and wants to erase those he believes should not exist. He is a serious, no-nonsense sort who maintains a calm and collected presence, rarely letting things get to his head. However, he is also quite prideful and even arrogant sometimes, to the point of occasionally getting him into issues. He prefers to do things on his own, and hates to rely on others' assistance with anything. Despite being a powerful warrior, he is not without mercy, and even spared Zanji when he was injured.

Being the future version of Toku, it's no surprise that the two share similar personality traits. Both are cold at times, but Hakumen is more focused rather than distant. He is essentially what Toku would be without the influence of Yukianesa or anyone else manipulating him. He knows that it is his destiny to destroy Zanji, being the bearer of the Power of Order, yet hates every bit of this fact, showing that he still has feelings for his brother.

The only time he has ever dropped his calm and focused persona is where Hazama cruelly tortures Tsubaki. Having lost Tsubaki previously and still loving her to the day, he displays extreme rage when anyone hurts her.

Background Info.

History:


Hakumen, is seen as a heavy contender throughout the Chunin exam. Having failed the exam during the previous year, it is explained that Hakumen had only failed the previous year's exam after nearly killing a proctor he did not approve of. He is introduced having removed another arms from his body for having bumped into him and not apologizing. During the first phase, out of a desire to satiate his appetite for murder, Hakumen "plays proctor" and kills a number of applicants in the Death Forest. He takes an interest in ~Korra~ and his friends after the boy uses his father's fishing rod to stop Hakumen from killing Erzo. In the third phase, Hakumen is targeted by Dante.. for having nearly killed the proctor during last year. Hakumen kills Dante.. with ease and is the first to pass through the Trick Tower. For the fourth phase, the remaining examinees are shipped to Zevil Island in order to take part in a week-long manhunt among themselves to capture their respective target's number plate. After docking, having been injured by Dante.. in their match, Hakumen spends his first two days on Zevil Island resting. His wounds attract hemotropic butterflies that feed on blood, leading his "predator" (Kryptiic) to him. Migualon J.J., a fatally injured martial artist, comes across Hibari and begs the magician to kill him. Hakumen refuses, "uninterested in the dead." An examinee known as Gobi Gobletsson then appears to kill Migualon J.J. and is then revealed to be Hakumen's comrade after giving him another's number plate.

In the evening of the second day, Hakumen begins to search for his target and comes across 'Kurapika and Erzo. After a short negotiation he allows them to leave unharmed in exchange for a number plate. However their potential and quick development whet his bloodlust, impelling him to find someone to kill. Hakumen has his badge stolen by Kryptiic, who had been tailing him, while attacking another examiner and stealing his plate. Excited by his feat,Kryptiic is soon after ambushed and temporarily paralyzed by Zwei, who so happens to be Hibari's designed target. Zwei spares Kryptiic's life but takes his and Hakumen's plates. Hakumen appears, decapitates Zwei, retrieves all three plates, and gives Kryptiic back his number plate along with his own plate. Kryptiic refuses to accept the favor, but Hakumen blasts him with a right hook and leaves after challenging him to do the same. Having obtained the necessary number of plates, Hakumen qualifies for the Final Phase.
The final phase of the exam is an elimination tournament in which the winner of a match is removed from the candidate list and receives his very own Ninja headband, and the loser is given more chance. His first match is against 'Kurapika. After fighting for a while, he whispers something to 'Kurapika then quits the match.


is next opponent is Mugen Ryukyu. It is a one-sided match but Mugen Ryukyu does not want to surrender. Hakumen knocks him down and whispers something to him. Right after this, Mugen Ryukyu admits defeat and Hakumen becomes a Ninja. When the exam is already over, he has a short conversation with Dante.. about Kryptiic , and warns Dante.. not to touch Kryptiic because the boy is his target only. Hakumen follows Kryptiic and Nemo.. to the Heavens Arena and prevents the duo from entering the 200th floor unless they have learnt how to use Nin. Kryptiic and Nemo return after learning Nin from Wing, Hakumen allows both of them to pass and tells Kryptiic if he can win one match on the 200th floor.

Byakugan:
Being born within the Hyuga clan Hakumen posses the almighty Byakugan as his bloodline and his Kekki Genkai,Although Hakumen wears a helmet almost all the times,he can see through the helmet regularly as if there is no helmet.

Water Release: Hakumen is able to perform any and every water techniques with the usage of one hand seal.

Summoning: Being an expert at summoning,Hakumen has a tattoo on his right shoulder which allows him to summon his animals by placing his blood on the tattoo.

Snakes Charming:
By spending times with Hazama as a comrade and as a friend,Hazama taught Hakumen the way of snake charming by using his arms or his whole body to mimic their movements,not taking control over the snakes however causing them to mimic his movements through his hands or his whole body to dodge or defend against an attack,this is doing though using his fire chakra,that is focused on his arms,hands,body or whatever Hakumen decides to take control over the snakes through making the snakes heat sensing abilities focus on it and move with it as if it had been mesmerized.

I don't think they are. They're just better at sensing people's smells than everyone else. They don't literally 'sense' your presence, they simply smell you out... '
