3/5, entertaining but not much too it. Ending was awesome though.

Questions:
-Why exactly was 'spiral' zetsu connected to the Gedo? Previous chapter he wasn't.
-Why is Zetsu so willing to help him? Part of a plan by Madara? Possibly to have him activate the next stage(s) of his sharingan?
-Where is Black Zetsu? He even created yet?
-Is this the place Sasuke went to to kill the original white zetsu?
-How much time has past since he last saw Kakashi?
-How is it that he sees Kakashi kill Rin through his sharingan when he saw nothing before? Did something happen the moment Kakashi 'realized' he stabbed Rin?
-At the end of the chapter, do Kakashi and Obito actually see each other? If so shouldn't of Kakashi known from the beginning who started this war? Especially when he versed him with Naruto,Shino, Kiba, etc.?

This is a very good point, no one else saw this ? Wouldn't this make it fairly obvious that it is indeed Madara's work ? I don't think Obito seeing a vision of Rin killed by a root is insignificant, if it was just to trick us into thinking Madara, it adds nothing to the plot. More likely his vision is significant, he could see it and this is all Madara's work. That's who really killed Rin, but somehow they show it to Obito as if Kakashi kills her.

Why do you think Zetsu is the one to warn Obito of Rin and Kakashi's endagerment in the first place, to be nice ? And it is probably Zetsu who has copied Kakashi's appearance, he can do that right ? I thought the entire scene could be an illusion, but with the root thing killing Rin, it would make sense that Kakashi is Zetsu. This is all Mada's plan, which is also why he's so sure of Obito's return. All this leaves Obito devoid of hope, makes sense, but I still don't see why he would be evil, as he's a good hearted guy like Naruto. Maybe he just doesn't care about the world anymore, and thinks he might as well help with Madara's plan, even if he doesn't believe it is for a good cause, he just doesn't care.

I think Obito is Madara's lost cause to use, his despair, like he used Nagato too, ninja's he knows he can use and twist their thoughts. He probably tells Obito so many things, until he believes them, so he takes revenge on the Mist, Kakashi, on everyone, that he thinks is to blame. Partly to his own thoughts but also Madara twisting them. So really, Obito going along with Madara's plan and "becoming evil", is simply his revenge on the world, he doesn't have anything to care for anymore, and he might as well get his revenge. That's probably why he does what he does now. I'm not sure why he said "you let Rin die", if maybe Madara tells him he himself did it, but Obito still blames Kakashi in the end, because he -let- her die, Rin is dead, he has no cause or hope, and his friend Kakashi didn't save her, neither did Minato. Who knows.

Kakashi accidentally kills Rin. Goes into rage mode killing the mist ninja but leaves Rin unattended and angry she got in his way maybe. Obito falls down on gorund and asks zetsu for power, turns into swirl thing. Tries to go save Rin, Minato comes to aid Kakashi and kicks Obitos ass without kakashi seeing (possibly still fighting mist ninja). Obito gets grudge against Minato for not being there for his students, hate kakashi for LETTING Rin die. Goes back to madara as Tobi, "My enemies are too strong, i need more power to make them pay, thank you for letting me see this side of the cruel world blah blah."

This ladies and gentlemen ^^ my guess. I've seen some good theories too, but ultimatley lets just wait another week shall we?

Clearly tears, yeah it's raining but you don't see a pool of water under Rin or Obito's eyes. He's crying for sure.

kakashi is too good of a ninja to fall for a trick if he was really the 1 tht killed rin and not a zetsu clone he had a good reason like RIN WAS A TRADER r SPY

I think it was like this:
Rin wanted to get killed by Kakashi!
Kakashi and Rin knew they were surrounded by anbu etc.!
And we all know that Rin loves Kakashi! The only way to survive a situation like this for those young ninjas is to activate kakashis ms!
So Rin sacrificed herself in Order to activate it. Maybe she begged him to kill her, maybe she ran on purpose in his chidori ! I can't tell, but we will find out next week

Idk, it makes since what ur saying but she did actually die and he was seeing it through his sharingan that is in kakashi. So I think that maybe the situation was REAL but set up by madara and obito being to blinded by pain and hurt to see it.

Then he would have used it in the in his fight with Itachi when they first encountered each other

I love all of the theories. But I have to say that the most logical scenario is that Rin is a double agent for the hidden mist. Of course I would be wrong. But Kakashi being controlled doesn't seem very likely, nor does him accidentally killing Rin. He was definitely crying, so it had to be a mission to kill her because she was betraying the leaf.

Madara says "You will come back" I think that statement is a clue to Madara having a hand in what Obito saw.
There could be a few possibilites considering the tools at Madara's disposal.
He could have used Izanagi to make the scene happen, but this is very unlikely because Obito will obviously return to madara and I doubt that Kishi is going to have blind Madara teach Obitio.
He could have used gennjutsu, on Obitio just to make him see that scene, but it also unlikely because obito is using his sharnigan and would probably see through a gentjutsu.
Or Zetsu could have copied the chakra and everything of obito and rin to create that scene infront of him, but it is also unlikely because kakashi would probably remember Zetsu clinging to him to steal some chakra.
So what I'm getting at is...... we won't know until Kishi tells us. Once again he trolled us with another ending that raises tons of questions

I think ur right, the zetsu's r all linked telepathicly sooo its very possible that rin is with a zetsu-kakashi clone thats showing obito what it see's. I'm thinking that if obito can see what kakashi see's then why hasnt kakashi seen things that obito see's like his training or where he is located through the years? N dont they use a four-man cell or formation? Sorry thats a diff topic.

My guess is the Hidden Mist ninja(s) used the hiding in mist jutsu and/or some genjutsu on Kakashi. Kakashi sees Rin as an enemy and charges with Chidori, mist clears, Rin-shish-kabob on Kakashi-arm-skewer. I want to think Kakashi's still young enough that he could fall for such a trick. Otherwise, I don't think Kakashi would kill her intentionally, especially after Obito's "death" and his saving a comrade speech.

But that's just my guess. We'll see for sure next week.

I'm thinking either the mist was too thick for kakashi to see, or rin was doing something that made kakashi attack her, or genjutsu... or many other possibilities, very confusing, and very unexpected. And let's not forget that earlier Obito revealed why he is seeking revenge, he said to kakashi: "You LET rin die" ... never said he killed her... Or, maybe rin asked kakashi to do so, maybe she was a threat to the mission.

If you think about it, this tells us a lot about Kakashi. Think about how relelvant this is to the very first mission of squad 7 up against Zabuza of the mist. Kakashi knew his shit and how to fight him. Guess he learned his lesson.
