Sooo... It is pretty much canon that Kakashi is the one who killed Rin.
Obito "connected" to his eye and saw Rin getting killed from Kakashis PoV.
The most curious thing about this chapter is probably Madara knowing that
Obito will come back to him and "thank him properly", what does he mean?
How much does he know? Most importantly, why Kakashi, why? D:

I doubt the thoery that is was only a Zetsu clone. If that is true, then Rin should be alive and Obito would know about this, and we could see Rin dillydallying on Konoha.

I have a hunch that Rin was betraying the leaf in some way, and there was no other choice but to kill her. Madara probably know about Rin's deeds for some time because he has information gathered through the Mazo which is connected to different places, but Madara refused to tell Obito the truth, and Madara knows that the fight was actually between Kakashi against Rin and the mist ninjas, which is the reason why Madara was confident in saying that Obito will come back to him, because Madara knew that Kakashi will kill Rin for some sort of betrayal.

Or it could also be an accident that he Raikiri'd Rin.

A good chapter, even if it felt a little short. And as always, Kishi leaves us hanging for next week. Can't wait to see what the explanation for this is. There are several options as to what really happened on the last page, and no basis to come with any kind of conclusion. My personal belief is that Rin must have been betraying the leaf in some kind of way, and Kakashi is forced to kill her. But it could also just as well be an eye trick, either tricking Kakashi into killing Rin by mistake, or tricking Obito into watching something that didn't really happen. We will just have to wait and see.

That was a good chapter. We finally saw how Rin died...i can't believe Kakashi killed her i believe there's something more to it which will be explained later on. And we get a little bit of a hint about the fight with Minato. After that, Obito should be pissed with him too, as he wasn't there to protect his students. Madara seemed pretty overconfident when he said : you will come back . Maybe he planned all the Mist act or he knew about it...

Holy crap, Kakashi killed Rin!
A possible explanation for the whole "You let Rin die" thing is this: Kakashi was either forced to stab her under Genjutsu or accidently stabbed her. Then afterwards, he chose to finish fighting the Mist Ninja rather than getting Rin to a medical-nin. As in, she might have survived with immediate medical attention, but he didn't get her there in time because he was busy fighting. Hence, he "let her die".
I doubt that Kakashi killed Rin under any orders; his whole shtick after Obito "died" was "don't betray your friends, screw the rules". Kakashi wouldn't have killed a friend even under orders, at least not a team mate, anyway.
Now I really wanna read 605, lol.

I'm completely mind ****ed here as to what is really going down. At first I totally thought this was Madara setting shit up, and used Zetsu clones and what not to get Obito on his side. I mean it is Mist ninjas and we know Madara/Tobi is involved with them at some point around this time. Madara even hints that he knows some crazy stuff is gonna happen, so it seems so obvious that Madara is setting things up.

But there are other things in the chapter that don't make sense if that is the case, like Mr. Spiral telling Obito that he should fight instead of Obito. Why bring that up? Mr. Spiral seemed genuinely concerned for Obito, which he wouldn't be if he knew Madara's plans. I guess he might have been kept out of the loop, but idk. Also I really don't think that Kakashi was a Zetsu clone because of Obito sharing vision with Kakashi's sharingan, it wouldn't make sense if it was a clone. Rin totally could have been, but I still don't think that is the case.

Some people are saying genjutsu on Kakashi, but look at the last page. Kakashi totally looks like he knew what he was doing, and he was crying because he had to kill a friend. As to why he had to kill her, no clue. She could have been a Mist spy or betraying the Leaf somehow. But then there is the problem of Obito telling Kakashi that he didn't protect Rin, which he totally would have said because he killed Rin.

Idk, guess I'll wait till someone smarter than me makes a good theory and believe that till next weeks chapter and toss everything out the window again.

Pretty bad chapter. I believe there were only a few things worth noting:

Obito's and Kabuto's lair was the same one Madara used.

Something happened to Obito's vision. I suspect either genjutsu or that two Sharingan can be linked when in close proximity.

Madara was certain Obito would return.

Obito has been using Madara's clothes and weapons.

That's it. Wow, I'm disappoint. (Yes, disappoint. Not disappointed)
