[Predictions] Naruto Manga Chapter 604 Discussion and 605 Predictions

I think the following will unfold:
Madara saw potential in a young uchiha(Obito) which was clueless of the old ways and found the perfect opportunity to have him inherit his goals. Breaking his ties to his village and friends was a must. I believe madara used gengutsu and had Obito witness the only act that would draw him closer, witnessing Rin die.
We have sasuke probably on the way, he will decide what Obito's role. If he joins naruto's side, Kishimoto will have Obito/Madara tandem, more likely having kakashi die and Obito taking his eye.
If sasuke joins Madara, then expect Obito to join kakashi and Naruto, making it possible that Rin's death was in fact a gengutsu.
Kishimoto has been playing with the "two eyes united" theme for some time now, the eyes being Obito's and kakashi's. Next, i see Obito finding out Madara manipulated him and teaming with Kakashi to take him down. Theres definetly a lot of flaws to this route Kishimoto might take.

Now, the sharingan being linked to Kakashi's is probably the most ideal conclusion. I mean to say, how could zetsu show Obito any vision on the left side of his head without there being an eye? It's just not possible right?
Well, in the narutoverse there could be a chakara link from the back of the mask to the brain, or even genjitsu or some shit, so let's put that to the side for now...

As to which one of these is most correct to me it's 50/50. Some parts of me going with the Sharingan theory, others going with the Zetsu clone theory.

But yes, I did find it strange that there were no ninja around when they arrived on the battlefield. So that leans me towards the Zetsu clone theory a bit.

Still 50/50 on it though ^_^

Everyone is jumping to conclusions. I believe Kakashi tried to use the incomplete Chidori again in the mist and hit Rin by accident. Then again, who were they fighting? No bodies on the battlefield whatsoever.

see properly there are bodies in the background but out of focus the chidori was completed when he got the sharingan....

Kakashi has tears in his eye in the last panel.. it was definitely Kakashi in sound mind who stabbed Rin. May be Rin got into some kind of strong genjutsu again by the enemy and had to be killed or something..

White zetsu says that he has clones everywhere and he uses them to send info to each other. Currently orbit is inside a zetsu. Is it possible that kakashi was a zetsu and the image of rin was transferred via zetsu information sharing? It is more logical than mysteriously seeing what a unattached eye sees.

Kakashi is not under genjutsu nor is it a zetsu clone. When itachi was reanimated sauske began to see things itachi was seeing therefore sharingans are linked to the original user. Obito saw what kakashi was seeing through HIS sharingan. there is no way he is a clone since there sharingans are linked. If anything it is plausable that it was a zetsu rin or an accident

i think that it wasn't kakashi who killed rin, and it was a zetsu thing transformed in kakashi,and kakashi zetsu ambushed rin...
the other prediction is that kakashi was on a genjutsu...

...Whoa. Obito said Kakashi "let" Rin die. I never would've expected he actually killed her firsthand.

Another thing I just thought about, disregarding the flame-patterned mask he wore before the current timeline and his reasons for making it, this implies that Obito's spiral mask was a living Zetsu clone. So, did that clone die when part of it was destroyed by Konan, ...or did Obito make a mask that looked like it later on?

maybe rin was under a genjutsu that caused her serious pain and kakashi wanted to end her suffering. or the mist ninja couldve been after information and kakashi had to prevent that. i dont think he could be under a genjustsu cuz he has the sharingan now. only someone with strong genjustsu(someone with another sharingan) could do that to kakash (correct me if im wrong).

here's what i think. zetsu said they were guinea pigs. the only thing i can think of that could apply is Ao is testing out his brand spanking new transplanted byakugan. and maybe kakashi thought he was fighting water clones. like that mizukage water mirror clone thing used on B and naruto, but like from a distance.

Sorry but I cant accept Rin as a traitor and Kakashi consciously killing her. Either one of them must have been controlled. If Rin was a traitor then why does Kakashi mourn her death? He saw Obito and Rin when he was on the verge of death after Pain killed him. Why would kakashi mourn her if she was a spy and not a legit comrade?

This might be true because kakashi already has the sharingan so he shuld be able to see 2ru the genjutsu but the probability of kakashi being a white zetsu is higher than rin.

Ignoring the hentai above, hello all. This is my first post, but I've been a Naruto fan since 2005, and have been checking out this forum for a few weeks. Anyways, I think this is a crazy chapter, maybe even more so than the Tobito reveal. I think there's something more to this, which seems to be the general consensus.

I don't think that it's a genjutsu, it would be crazy if such an old Madara can have an effect on a battle so far away.

Zetsu seems improbable too, since Kakashi's clearly crying.

The traitor theory would work if it weren't for Obito's death, since Kakashi trying to keep his promise, would at the very least capture her, not kill.

Mangekyo activation wouldn't work either since Kakashi isn't a heartless bastard.

The last theory I've heard that doesn't make sense is that they were surrounded and Kakashi killed her to save Konoha secrets. Kakashi would give his life before doing that, because of his promise to Obito.

The only one that kind of makes sense is the accidental fog kill, where he couldn't see and accidentally killed her, but that still doesn't seem right. Rin, being a medic-nin, wouldn't be near the line-of-fire, I'd think. Kakashi would also be much more careful, since he's already experienced a teammate's death, and that would cause anyone to think twice before any move.

Anywho, information coming from your right eye is processed by the left side of your brain, and vice versa (it's called cross-lateralization). Consequently, if Zetsu were to somehow transmit visual stimuli to the right side of Obito's brain, Obito would "see" that as coming from his left (phantom) eye. Of course, it's extremely unlikely that this was going through Kishi's head when he wrote this.

Isn't obvious that kakashi wasn't under genjutsu. Maybe rin (hypnotise/maybe she was a traitor) tried to kill him. And he thought he was in a genjutsu that's why he kept only his sharingan open. So he could focus, so i doubt that was a genjutsu on him or i doubt it was a zetsu
