Kakashi wouldn't just kill Rin. Also he wouldn't visit her grave if he killed her for being a traitor. I don't think there would even be a grave for her in konoha if she was. There is something behind kakashi's strike and I'm sure kishi will make it clear.... will have to wait for next week's

The latest chapters have so many weak explanations.

Obito survives cause of Madara, drops exactly under where he was hiding...
Tobi Zetsu has an open spot especially for Obito's eye...
Obito grows hair exactly like Madara's..

I think that it might be a Zetsu clone.. I mean the way Kakashi is dressed is like the time when he lost his eye and his mask got scratched like it just happened. So i'm asuming that it's a Zetsu clone.

It takes time to reach a target using that jutsu, the only logical explanation is genjutsu. Maybe the enemy made her appear as one of them. It could also be a Zetsu clone, remember he can transform into a person.

This may sound ridiculous but I think that madara controlled kakashi in some way, so obito would not leave him. Because Madara knows all the secrets of the sharingan. So obito would turn 'evil'.

i would not say that the latest chapters have weak weaknesses!

I don't remember any correct predictions from what I have read after tobi being obito ! These chapters have just blown away everyone's predictions. This is not weak my friends, this is the Kishi showing us his expertise on the matter.

How boring would it be for everyone if the manga chapters would turn out to be just the way we predicted them. Its the element of surprise which has kept this manga running. No matter what, Kishi keeps the reader in suspense. After each chapter, the question "what is next" remains everytime. So please, think a little deeper. This is not weak, this is one of the best manga's ever made, that has kept top position for years

Why would kakashi kill Rin? I haven't seen an explanation reasonable enough. I can't call weak something that u can't predict. Even the reasons that we might think of will probably be blown away again by the next week's manga.

I don't believe either Rin or Kakashi was a zetsu clone. Kakashi can probably (atleast I think) see even through zetsu clones with sharingan and I don't think that Zetsu clones can copy techniques like raikiri. Kakashi has sharingan and Rin is a medical ninja which rules out genjutsu unless it is very advanced genjutsu. What I think is Rin was working for Kirigakure and Kakashi had to finish her. This would again be an example of the corrupt ninja world and system they live in. Ofcourse this is just a theory. The probability of this being correct would be about 15% or something .

It wasn't genjutsu, and Rin wasn't a spy. I say Kakashi was doing something like what Kisame did to his comrades when they were surrounded. He didn't want the enemies to get info about Konoha from her.

I don't think Kakashi would have done that. He was deeply affected by Obito's words about "those who turn their backs on their friends are worse than scum." That was the whole reason why Kakashi joined with Obito to save Rin. It has to have been planned somehow, and NOT by Kakashi.

So that's how Kakashi got his MS. Albeit whether its genjutsu or real. o.O

Kakashi didn't get his MS until later on. If he had it during the first part of the manga, then why did he never use it? Only when part 2 (aka Shippuuden) rolled around did he have and use MS. As someone else noted, you can't skip from 2 tomoe to MS.

The point about the mask and clothing is slightly odd to me. It's obvious that at least a little bit of time has passed since the Kanabi Bridge incident. The length of Obito's hair attests to that. I would really like to know about how much time has passed to where Kakashi couldn't change his mask out. Is this only a couple of weeks later or is it months later, as Obito's hair length suggests?

only explanation i see is that there mustve been fog so thick that kakashi couldnt see and we all know before when kakashi used that chidori he couldnt control it like minato told him not to use that jutsu because its not perfected maybe kakashi really did hit her on accident do to a unperfected jutsu and thick fog

wow mind blown. 4 stars cause I was disappointed til last page. Kakashi is crying in the last panel hes obviously being forced to do it one way or another

EDIT: after a second read through, mind blown, obito is seeing through kakashi's sharingan as he kills rin.

its not a genjutsu obvious. You can clearly see kakashi crying. And I dont think its something like an accident. Kakashi was somehow forced to kill Rin by mission, but his feeling was in the way sorta, that made him cry. Reason possible; Rin being an imposter/spy also against her feeling? Or kakashi made believe that she was a imposter/spy with the influence of madara/zetsu? Dunno, kishi can do anything after this scene, hope he choses something nice and epic.

I predict that two white zetsu copied kakashi's and rin chakra, turned into them and staged that scene. We don't see any mist ninjas, we don't see anyone. Also kakashi isn't the one to get caught into genjutsu so simple. But who knows, I might be wrong.

Kakashi is young so genjutsu could still work. Although he has a sharingan but it is only two tomoe. Mist + lightning blade = hard time seeing. He was either under a genjutsu or just could not tell if she was an enemy or not.

I rate this chapter a 5! Becuase WTH it was one hell of a plot twist! Din't see it comming, but feel like its a part of madaras plan..... There are a lot of theorys, one is that it was two zetzus that he saw, bascily a trap in brainwashing obito to following madura. Another is that rin betrayed the leaf village or is a spy....... kakashi still cryed when he stabed her in the chest......One of mine is that kakashi was trying to touch rin's boob, but forgot that he had chidori on! she died, just for laughs. But seriously...I hear that maybe the ninja that kakashi and rin were fighting were acualy zetzus..... and then in the confustion, kakashi acidently stabed rin with a chidori though her chest. Comon guys, we all know kakashi from day 1.... why the hell would you lose respect for him? Remember he died from fighting pain..... the only one who was even able to take 1 of the 6th paths of pain down before he died by the main pain.... So we know he woun't just straight up kill rin without no dam reason! please try to think outside the box insted of the same theroys again and again.... or use these theorys and explaing it in a diffrent way......

As far as the chapter goes, meh. No surprises here, just another cliffhanger. I'm sure this is all some sort of mistake anyway, we all know Kakashi wouldn't purposely kill Rin.

My theory is that Rin was a spy or a mole. That, genjutsu on Kakashi, or a Genjutsu on Obito.

Well, actually, yeah....... It could have been from the confusion of the battle. Obito said you "let" Rin die. That's probably what he ment.

Im pretty sure It was not an accident. Look at kakashi's face. It was not an "oops" face.
I believe it's just a massive Plan by Madara. He was so sure that Obito will be back. Hints that he has something to do with that.

Also, Obito says Kakashi "Let" Rin die and not "killed" Rin. So whatever it is, Obito, and we for that matter, will find out.
