In this manga issue Obito appears to be witnessing Kakashi murdering Rin. However a couple issues back Obito said to Kakashi "You let Rin die." So we already know by that statement what we just read without any interpretation is a lie. The lie being Kakashi straight up killing Rin. If Rin was a traitor Obito would be saying "You killed Rin." Which can't be the case. We KNOW Rin is dead meaning this is the real her and I believe it is the real Kakashi

My theory goes like this. Before arriving at the battle Obito has an image projected in his mind it looks to be Kakashi arm in "something". Why not write it so Obito hijacked Kakashi's body movements (EYE connection) and he unintentionally kills Rin. He was going for mist baddy but his body stopped responding. After this event Kakashi learns to keep his/obitos eye covered!!!! Zetsu Tells Obito "You might be able to obtain a power never seen before" just before arriving. Perhaps seeing through his eye in Kakashi's head and body manipulation is kishis "power never seen" Also the hype about how their eyes (sharigan) together will be a stronger force. Suggests more emphasis on this theory.

It also opens the door for Kakashi to fully explain events in the present and Obito to be talk no jutsu insta-good guy (again) lol.


Like it or not Obito IS viewing the world directly out of his eye in Kakashi's head. This is not some zetsu info feed.

Ok so I know a lot of people think that it was all Zetsu at Rin's death. This is why I hope it was actually Kakashi that killed rin.
1. Since Minato was absent, it would explain why Obito wanted to kill Minato since he wasn't there to protect Rin.
2. If it was the mist that tricked Kakashi into killing Rin, then it would explain why Obito created the "Bloody Mist."
3. If it really was the Mist ninja that tricked Kakashi into killing Rin through some mist genjutsu, then it would explain why Kakashi, "Let Rin die."
4. It would also show that Obito's eyes ARE connected, and would explain how he has a lot of valuable information. (But he would only be able to see, since it an eye, not hear and everything else.)
5. It would start to explain Obito's path to madness. With his sense of reality inflicted, one of his good friends/ teammate, killing his crush/teammate when all he wanted to do was be with them. I know I would go through some VERY rough times if i witnessed that.

Now, don't get me wrong, it may very well be Madara's doing, but I hope it's not I think it would be more emotional and be a little better story wise, but that's just me. Please do not tell me the things about why this would not make any sense because I am very well aware of all these factors, but Kishimoto still has a lot of explaining to do so just be patient. To make something clear, Tobi had not real intention of ''fighting'' Minato. He went to destroy Konoha and Minato ended up being in his way so he fought him.
He had a grudge against the whole shinobi world because it was inevitable.

Kakashi and Riin were being attacked by dozens of mist ninja. They obviously were in a desperate and panicked state to survive. That explosion clouded up Kakashi's vision and Rin probably came up behind him and thats when he stabbed her. He did it as a reflex or thought she was a mist ninja.

ur thought is quite simple, yet can be true though. Who knows.......kishi might just make it that simple....

I don't remember Zetsu saying a number. For all we know, it could've been 5 very skilled shinobi, or none at all. We're gonna have to wait for that explanation. And Kishi's obvious recently, but not that obvious.

Obito invaded Konoha, killed Minato wife's body gaurds, proceded to kidnap his wife, and then kill her. And thought that he wouldn't have to deal with Minato at all. You may be right, but I think your logic needs to be a little more thought out . Obito isn't THAT stupid.
