Who really killed Rin? Naruto chapter 604 discusion....

it can't be by mistake kakahsi meant to attack her by the stance his face looks as if he was prepared to attack a comrade, but after the things he said to sauske about raikiri tehres no way he'd use it on rin. my tehory is that rin was really killed hours before this happned by zetsu then zetsu transformed into her and attacked kakashi by doing this he was forced to her rin and zetsu made it look very real teh faciacl expression and all this is all according to madaars plan

Ok like many of you I was trying to make sense of this new chapter which has perplexed the sh!* out of me. Then, a crazy theory hit me like lightning! We saw that Obito had a "vision" of rin as she was dying, which suggests some connection to Kakashi's eye BUT I think it was something else..Zetsu states that Obito's half Hashirama cells, which is also what Zetsu is made of..now we have all seen in the past Tobi & Zetsu have a very special ability in common...ZETSU CAN "RECORD" THINGS AND TOBI CAN "WATCH" THEM! Still don't get it?? That "vision" of rin dying was a zetsu recording that Obito was watching! He was surprised at the vision and thought he was imagining it, you all read how Zetsu said he can communicate to the other Zetsus "telepathically" which would include Obito since he's technically half Zetsu! That also explains why Kakashi's mask is still cut the way it happened at Kannabi bridge in the last panel, it's a clone.

no i think its rin tahts the clone zetsu killed her and attacked kakashi transformed as her so when obito shows up it looks like rin was killed by kakashi

how about this,
rin dies in the onslaught but kakashi somehow manages to survive and when the zetsu transforms into rin, kakashi kills it and starts crying due to the fact rin died or whatever.
After kakashi is all into taking about protecting your comrades, he would definately have just captured rin and got her to konoha.
he could have easily done that.
anyone else think this is possible

That's actually pretty plausible. I never even noticed that Kakashi still had that rip in the bandage, especially noting how at least a few months must have passed since Obito managed to grow out his hair. Maybe he hasn't been back to Konoha to replace it since the war's still going on.
It's also possible Obito was able to see through Kakashi's sharingan, seeing as it was originally his own which seems to be supported by Obito covering that eye.
My other concern would be, wouldn't Obito have figured that out later on down the track, and at the same time hold a grudge against Zetsu?


The other way of looking at this, is that the "experimental" < [Keyword] hidden mist ninja were the Zetsu clones all along.

instead of, you killed rin so something is wrong here?

Hey has anyone here given a consideration that since this is a manga and is written in JAPANESE that maybe when the people at manga panda made the translation that it could have meant either "you let rin die" or "you killed rin"?!! then it would make sense that he killed rin

My theory on this is that due to them fighting strong experienced mist ninja, they used that hidden mist jutsu(the one zabuza used) to hide their prescence and to seperate them. Since kakashi was not experienced in combat situations unlike his older self, he mistook rin for a mist ninja thus attacking her with chidori. Of course, this is just me speculating. I can't believe that kakashi did this on purpose because I don't want to think that rin was a spy. Also, I doubt it was madara plan, I mean if it was his plan just wow.

I'm going with that that was the real Kakashi. Obito covered where the sharingan he gave Kakashi is and saw exactly what kakashi was seeing. That seems more plausible imo than it was the zetsu part

Tobito explained to Kakashi that he "let" Rin die. This suggests that Kakashi was in a position to SAVE Rin, not KILL her like the Manga shows. Maybe there was a translation error, but I believe Madara has set this up. What also is weird, is that "Kakashi" is crying. This suggests that it was actually him, or maybe another trick to decieve Zetsu.

Maybe there were some extreme circumstances where Kakashi HAD to kill Rin, but that seems unlikely. What do you guys think? (I thought about this, but now I think Rin wanted to die)

Kakashi asks if Tobito is going to blame him for Rin's death. This is ambiguous, but I don't think it would be a zetsu clone, b/c if it was, Tobito wouldn't have said "let" Rin die. Also, Tobito would have found out it was a Zetsu clone, and Madara would have been blamed for plotting Rins death (Although I do think he did). I'm thinking Rin maybe wanted Kakashi to kill her (sounds absurd I know but think about it). She doesn't seem too "shocked" and she's saying Kakashi in a way like, you're the last person I'm seeing before I die. Just something I thought up, I'm not saying it's "right" just accounting for various possibilities.
