That's all you really need to know about why Kakashi's hand is through Rin. Here's the likely scenario:

The zetsu told Obito that Rin and Kakashi were in a situation facing multiple jonin. I don't doubt it. The two are fighting them off, and, suddenly, Kakashi's sight is blinded by an unknown jutsu. All he sees is blackness. He hears Rin and is fighting blinded to protect her. He lights up his chidori and stabs in the direction of one.

The jonin all sink into the earth and disappear, releasing the jutsu. As the jutsu releases, both Obito and Kakashi's vision become clear; Kakashi has just killed Rin. Obito shows up just in time, all according to Madara's plan.

As Madara predicted, Obito will return to Madara thanks to this staged event.

Yep, people need to relize that acidents happen like that...... Why else would kakashi cry when he stabed rin with a chidori? And your saying that these jonin ninja are like zetzu clones? Yes that would make sence since they can just disaper into the ground. But it realy just seems that madara has planed this dosn't it? We all know kakashi..... I think it was by accident. Kakashi was probably still trying to get used to his chidori + speed and couldn't stop in time to avoid Rin.
Probably the reason why he doesn't really like it when sasuke used it against Naruto cause it shouldn't be used on "comrades".

Maybe Obito in the process of connecting with his other eye with Kakashi,blinded him as well.

Exactly. Look at it this way; Tobi told half truths and lies to Sasuke to get him to work for the Akatsuki, but Madara did the same thing to Obito, the difference is that Sasuke isn't as gullible and naive as Obito nor is he as trusting. This manga is like a soap opera and all of the story lines are going to converge in the end because they have the same source; the jealousy and Hatred of the Uchiha clan.

lmao no it was not, but this is .... just look at the way zetsu has been talking to obito last chapter he said that madaras plan can even bring ppl back from the dead...i wonder why he said that ... i know because he would eventually kill them so that obito has no other hope to see rin only if he follows madaras plan.... so yeah madara planned this one... he might be old but he is really wise...how can you make a teenager you never met to follow your orders??? easily make him feel helpless. not physically but emotionally.

It's not like he shot a needle from 1,000 yards away. It was his fist, at close range, in combat, against other normal-sized people that generally keep their hearts in the same place. So, yes. He could not see, heard an indicator that someone was right in front of him, and stabbed in the area where the heart would be using muscle memory.

A tear is not shock, his eyes would be widen if he didnt mean to stab her!

Obito thought he was initially seeing rain but then retracts that thought once seeing some of the battlefield. IMO the rain was probably some kind of mist tech.

If any of what I said above is true then I don't find it hard to believe Kakashi accidentally stabbed Rin during all of the commotion.

Thats the only bit of emotion you see from him. there are only 3 types of catatonia and the kakashi wasnt diplaying any that we could see. you have stupor ( which is the closest to what your trying to prove, but you cant defend that with what was shown. the other 2 are Catatonic excitement which we didnt see any excitement from him and Malignant catatonia which we didnt see instability. So using reason, we can deduce that kakashi( or whoever) is not in shock, or even catatonic shock. Like I said, the attacker looks more emotionless with the exception of the tear. Therefore it was not an accident, the attack was intentional.

LOL You wouldn't happen to be talking about Naruto Shippuden episode 15 right? You do know the part where Kakashi used the mist tech on Itachi is filler right? Never happened in the manga so...
