All jokes aside though this is a clue to how Rin died as was the almost accidental death of Sakura as she ran in between Naruto and Sasuke; Kakashi moves so fast that his momentum forces him to stay the course no matter who is in front of him, this is the greatest draw-back of the Raikir/Chidori, that's why Minato suggested he not use it hastily.
