All non Iwarians who try to channel their chakra into the earth will have their chakra immediately canceled out and absorbed by the Earth. This includes trying to use techniques that allow an opponent to travel underground or through the ground by any means.
As both our eyes set towards each other Kakuzu walks within mid range with his eyes still locked to your position

As Kakuzu says this he first performs a Horse hand seal followed by releasing a huge wall of fire towering over the field which heads straight towards you, covering your vision of me. As Kakuzu finishes breathing out the fire, he follows up by creating a Lightening Shadow Clone (Rag) which begins to move towards his left side while staying in mid range, as the clone begins walking Kakuzu raising his hands towards the sky pushing Lightning "essence" towards the sky and has multiple lightening strikes rain down on your position & high speeds

Having said that Kirito watches as Kakuzu expels a massive wall of flames. Kirito then forms a spiralling ball of wind in one hand and a torrent of water in the other combining both, creating a tornado of water which as it collides and stops the fire leaves a large mist which spreads around the battlefield, obstructing Kakuzu's vision of Kirito. Then with his byakugan Kirito perceives Kakuzu creating a single clone and then proceeds by slamming his palms on the ground raising many giant pillars of earth below and all around Kakuzu and his clone. Kirito with his hands still on the ground then proceeds by creating a mass of water roughly ten meters from ground level above Kakuzu and his clone which comes crashing down rapidly.

As the cloud of steam begins to form leading to Kakuzu's continued loss of vision of your position he decides this the best time to advance closer to you by having both him & his clone charge at you through the steam by covering higher & lower ground, he begins by crouching down to help push more force towards his next mid-air attack, as he crouches the earth begins to break apart around him & Rag causing tremors to form making him & his clone lose balance, due to his position Kakuzu maintains most of his footing by also placing his hands on thr ground as to not stumble over & as the ground begins to rise Kakuzu leaps forward to mid air at a much faster pace due to him using more force on his legs to push forward, while in the air Kakuzu follows by shooting out 3 giant fireballs which speed through the steam & across your last general area he had spotted you within ( would would still be in the same place as before seeing as you have not moved yet ).

While firing them Rag who has lost all balance, falls to the ground in great force due to the pillars rising leading him to disperse causing eletrical currents to spread as he does attracting Kakuzu's sight, as he looks down to see his Clone vanish leaving behind a mess of lightening chakra he notices a shadow form on the ground, with his body at an angle which nearly parallel's with the ground due to him leaping forward he turns his head to notice a mass of water speeding down towards the ground to avoid any contact with it Kakuzu by inhaling in the air mixing it with his own chakra & blow straight out under him facing enough to his last position on ground leading him to speed straight towards your position.

As the pillars slam into Kakuzu and send him flying with bone-crushing force Kirito bites his thumb and slides it across the batoidea tattoo located on his lower left arm and calls forth several stingray stinger barbs in his mouth which he then fires towards Kakuzu's arms and legs, avoiding any vital areas while numbing his limbs due to the toxins expelled from the stingers. Kirito then walks towards Kakuzu as he would fall onto the ground and releases a current of lightning to paralyze Kakuzu just to be sure and grabs onto his ankle, digging a hole going to the village underground dragging Kakuzu along

Description: The user swipes their thumb across their mouth, drawing blood from their thumb, the user then slides the blood across their summoning tatoo, calling forth dozens of stingray stinger barbs into their mouth at anyone time and spewing the stream of stingers that each contain a sac of intense toxin. The stingers ranging from the size of small needles to that of senbon. The volley of stingers being comprised of hundreds of stingray stingers that are harder than steel while being exceptionally aerodynamic, the stingers are also serrated, meaning once they are lodged in something, they are increasingly hard to pull out. The protein toxins on the stingers force the muscles in the opponents body to tense, resulting in severe and painful cramping as the enzymes ravage the cells in the impacted area, causing them to "die". A few (ten or so) stingers are capable of incapacitating half a limb and any organs contained within the period of two turns. This can alternatively be used by a Ray, however they simply spew the volley of stingers without the need for prior movements. If used by a Kodai boss, the stingers will be the size of a shortsword.

- Can only be used once ever two turns.
- Can only be used 3x by a Human, and 2x by a Boss. Can only be used maximum of 3x per battle regardless of who the user is.

Description: The user changes earth into fine sand by channeling chakra into it, allowing the user to dig through it like a mole. While underground one can sense what is happening on the surface and use the information to launch a surprise attack on the enemy. Once can also hide deep in the ground, escaping to a depth where the enemy cant reach. It also appears that after digging, the ground can be returned to its original state, leaving no trace of where the user entered the earth.
If you dodge, “I won't let them cut me”. If you protect someone, “I won't let them die”. If you attack, “I'll cut them”. Well can't you see… the resolve to cut you reflected in my sword?
As Kurapika hears the news of Kumo ninja arriving, he runs off to see if Kirito needs help, only to find a Kumo ninja throwing needles at the ground for an unknown reason.
He then quickly throws two Kunai aimed at the Kumo.
