Getting tired of Obito
Am I the only one? I just want this story to move on already. I wanna see Sasuke and Orochimaru, and the fight between Madara and Naruto. I don't care about Obito, we already figured out what's up with him.
Now Kishi is just answering every plothole, I hope we won't get flashbacks up until Tobi revealed himself as Obito.

This is the biggest revelation of the series. I think that Kishi has paced it correctly.

I love these chapters. I hope they never end. Better than Tenten's life story.

Flashback: in literature and dramatic media, an interjected scene that takes the narrative back in time from the current point
this isn't really a flashback, we aren't getting old information again, we are seeing a point in the past, we've never seen before.

Your definition didn't say anything about a flashback needing to be old information.

Re: Getting tired of Obito
Are you kidding me? For months you people have been *****ing and complaining about how Kishi cant possibly fix his plot holes, or how Tobi better be this and that, or how Kishi needs to hurry up and explain things, and now that he actually is doing everything you all have been waiting for your STILL *****ing and complaining!? Are you NEVER satisfied??? Just remember, when the manga ends for good and you start *****ing and complaining that Kishi ended it to fast or whatnot, just remember this...

narrative:a story or account of events, experiences, or the like, whether true or fictitious.
You forgot to bold "back in time" which is like saying in the past
Also
Flashback:
A flashback, or involuntary recurrent memory, is a psychological phenomenon in which an individual has a sudden, usually powerful, re-experiencing of a past experience or elements of a past experience.
So it's a flashback,of Obitos past and how he came to know madara (like Kakashi was wondering how he knew madara)

Re: Getting tired of Obito
i have come to hate the word plothole, mostly because ppl use it as a way to bash kishi. and clearly thisflashback is for everyone who said naruto has plotholes. personally im enjoying it, i think obito is way more bad ass now ( he got on my nerves before) and finally we will see what happened to rin ansd how obito gave in to madaras will. im excited for sasukes part as well but we are not there yet so just enjoy the ride

Re: Getting tired of Obito
These flashbacks will probably only last until he decides to join Madara after finding out about Rin's death, since what triggered this flashback was Kakashi asking Obito why he joined Madara.

I'm not "you people" I haven't complained about Kishi fixing the plotholes, there were never any plotholes to begin with, we already guessed that it was Obito behind all this and dragging it on much longer is pointless.

Re: Getting tired of Obito
No, I'm not as shallow as you. I need more than Tobi is Obito, with no logic reason as to how and why such a drastic change could have taken place.

Re: Getting tired of Obito
As almost everyone above me posted, these chapters are necessary, I like them and I won't have a problem with if these chapters even extend to the point of the attack on konoha.

Re: Getting tired of Obito
Actually i kinda agree with the op here. The real plotholes have nothing to do with what kishi is showing us right now so it doesnt really answe anything. Madara is a manipulative person, once he found obito it was quite clear hed do sth along these lines. I dont see the ppint here unless kishi wants to keep the possibility of obito turning good again open which is stupid this late in the manga. Id rather have flashbacks of madaras fight with hashirama, how he survived when did he awaken the rinnegan and give it to nagato etc.

Re: Getting tired of Obito
I don't care what others say, personally I agree with you, I just want them to get it over with faster. Sure it is a very important part of the plot but I never really have 2 sh*ts about Obito, just wanna know if that's the real Kakashi who killed her and why. Then please go back to the fight with Madara.

Re: Getting tired of Obito
While the whole Naruto and Obito faceoff is answering some questions and filling in some holes, I want to see more of the other fights going on, rather than this lazer focus on Naruto. I want to see it mixed up a bit, a little more exciting, not all this standing around talking about flashbacks and who killed who or who didnt keep a promise and all this stuff that makes me expect them to hug and make up. Where did all the fighting go? How long is this war going to drag out?
