Hmm I wasn't thinking about that yet, but I was about the classic people-go-to-the-past-and-everything-they-do-there-is-in-fact-part-of-the-timestream trick, meaning that whatever they do in the past is part of the flow of time and thus them potentially 'changing' it has always been meant to be and thus they aren't really changing the flow of time. This is what Oda did in Rave Master.

I know what I'm about to say is a long shot idea, and probably isn't possible. What if Eclipse was tried before? Not only did the Dragons disappear that day, isn't it also the same day that Lucy's Mom, a Celestial Wizard, died? Maybe she was a part of it before? Otherwise, how do they know if Eclipse would work?

I really liked the chapter though. It has me with a lot of questions. I think Fairy Tail will either try to win, or try to break Lucy out. Or maybe that girl with magic similar to Zeref will try something.
