What happened to the AMV contests?

Were the AMV contests discontinued?

I couldn't find a thread later than April's contest... but never found out why the contests were quit. Was there just not enough interest?

If someone could tell me what's the story, it would be appreciated . . .

I see. Ya, a good amv is not easy to make. It's not like a sig where you tell your story in one image. You combine music with a series of images and try to get it all unified so that it tells one story... BUT IT IS SO FUN!

More ppl should get into it

Yeah, but not always, for me, AMVs mean make the impossible true xD

I'd love it if this would go back online to participate, but I fear you're right. I do know a lot of people who make AMV on YouTube, but I suppose they never really were here on the forum.
