Tbh I didn't like Kin-san. He didn't seem to have the flaws that other characters like Shinpachi and Sadaharu have, and really isn't that interesting. But I did learn that people with naturally straight hair can't be that bad, so I'll keep watching it. :3

The heavens have heard our prayers.....though to be honest it wasn't like the show was NEVER going to come back, it was all a matter of time. Gintama is way too popular to be simply shut down like that, NO ONE MESSES WITH OUR YOROZUYA!

The jokes are in a dimensions of completely different nature, they're seemingly random and not too seldom a bit perverted, not to the point where it's disgusting in an unbearable way though.
The best thing about this series though, as I see it, is the spirit and underlying meanings of it all. I think that it's usually humorous nature sometimes clouds the immense depth it has.
I recommend you watch it, or if you prefer reading, the manga.
