Am I the only person who is really loving this game?

I've played Resident Evil ever since 1 and, of the new generation (4-6) this one is easily my favorite. I don't understand why people seem to be hating it so much. Sure, it's NOTHING like the greats (1-CV) but it is definitely a step in the right direction.

What I've seen most is people bashing the controls, the "clumpy" story mode and various plot holes. I have had no problem with the controls. I'll just say that first off. I'm solo-ing the campaign on Veteran and Professional and have had no annoying issues; just fun, challenging gameplay. If you've played the original Resident Evil games, you'd know that Resident Evil 2 also had this "clumpy" story mode. It had two separate stories that complemented each other, to get the full story you had to play through both. The same applies in Resident Evil 6; things happen in each story that, if you want the explanation, you have to venture through the other campaigns. I love that they snuck this in for classic fans, like myself.

Why Resident Evil 6 answers what 5-4 could not.
First off, I have to go back to the multiple campaigns. You'll notice that Leon and Ada's story mode is much more puzzle oriented then the other, more rough and tumble campaigns and their is good reason for this. Leon is an agent for the US government, he's not thrown into the front lines, he's MEANT to be the sort of character he is. Where-as, Chris is a soldier. He IS thrown into the frontlines when his country, or even the world, is in danger. This is what results in the "Call of Evil" gameplay.

I feel that this kind of answer is great for fans AND Capcom. They get mass appeal AND the classic fans get a bit of what we want.

The controls.
I've had no problems with the controls; the dodge rolling, the melee attacks and the 'coup-de-grace' attacks all flow seamlessly and do not interrupt the games flow and is needed for the new opponents .
That's really all there is to say about it.

I don't even need to talk about the multiplayer; Capcom has that down to a tee.

Please, respond to this. I'd like to know your thoughts on the game, and if you don't like it, why not.
