Why do people say this to all the people who post in wrong sections?You saying that wont change a thing.Its actually spam if you do since it has nothing to do with the discussions.you guys arent Mods that tell people if its the wrong section or not.

If you post in the Wrong Section and then... Someone tells you, you posted in the Wrong Section, then... Someone creates a thread about people telling other people they posted in the Wrong Section. Did you still post in the Wrong Section?

They say it because the person who made the thread posted in the wrong section. I also do, that answers your question, right? Posting a reply informing the Thread Maker that his post is in the wrong section isn't something only mods must/can do.

By the way, wrong section, this belongs in chatterbox...actually, it doesn't belong anywhere...it's an overdone thread anyway. -_- Just use your brain and post in the right section, then no one will tell you that. Also, posting in the wrong section can earn you an infraction in some cases, so people are just trying to help out.

They are helping and informing/reminding you what you did wrong so that you can avoid possible infraction/warning along with deletion/closing of your thread next time.

Only the people who keep repeating it even after OP is already been well informed about the mistake without adding anything new to the relevant info or the thread topic ( basically using it for the quick post count raising) are spamming.

If you posted a thread in a wrong section or see such a thread, the best way to manage it is to report that thread stating the reason and one of the mods will move it to correct section as needed. Or message a mod to do so. You can also politely guide the OP which section would be correct and let them know what may happen in such cases.

How is that relevant? It is still rape by the way, as even a prostitute has the human and civil rights to say no or refuse to indulge in such an activity if she doesn't want to.
