depends on the circumstances....in sasuke case yes i would because naruto knows he is just in pain and wants to sever all connections because they hurt him inside

that is what happenes why you get hurt like that and he remebers how sasuke was

What manga have you been reading? Naruto explicitly stated that he didn't want to save Sasuke only for Sakura, but because he wanted to save him anyway, not to mention that Sakura had told Naruto that she doesn't want Sasuke to be saved and brought back anymore.

Naruto not only said that he was able to comprehend some of Sasuke's pain (likely due to Jiraiya's death?), but also claimed that what he was doing was understandable. Some people would just call Naruto out and try to bypass such information, but Kishimoto is obviously portraying Naruto as somebody who has matured enough through pain to see through the "obvious" details. (see previous arc).
