Would you guys say that Sai himself is good enough to solo diedara? That would be the ultimate battle of the arts and a pretty good air battle as well. It would be clay vs drawings.

dedara has a slight advanteg cause his attks have more of a bang (get it) but their more or less equal

Deidara has this, Sai's paintings don't seem to be dangerous enough other than his sealing jutsu's Deidara wins.

Deidera has more of a variety. Sai couldn't see the tiny bombs. However Sai is much more calm than Deidera (apart from when his bro is involved) so maybe that balances it out again. Originally Posted by FoxSikes

50/50, Sai has one of two things that are useful against Deidara... You could have Raiton or Skills that combine Range and Evasion.

Deidara did beat gaara but he used a dirty trick to do it. He aimed for the village and Gaara spent a lot of chakra protecting it. And Gaara didnt use Shukaku which wouldve changed the whole fight Originally Posted by AP2k

They're about even, at least until Deidara pulls out C4. The only reason Sasuke could evade it was because he could see it with Sharingan. The only reason he knew it was there at all was because of Sharingan. At first glance C4 just looks like a dud. And if Deidara goes ape shit and decides to blow himself up, I don't think Sai has any way to escape this. So it's a draw at best.

Gaara is capable of making sand by crushing minerals underground. (chapter 215) Also according to Gaara's dad in the 4th shinobi war the sand is his mother's love for him....how much of that is metaphorical is unclear. Originally Posted by AP2k

So it really comes down to can Sai dodge the suicide bomb and the answer is NO...it spread out WAY too fast! So at best Sai can bring up a draw....other than that he doesn't beat Deidara because of the suicide bomb as well as the advantage of the C4 Karura.
