I don't think Kurama would have been able to heal Naruto if Sasuke had crushed his heart. Sasuke was going for his heart but instead Naruto moved a bit which caused Sasuke to drive his fist through his lungs.

I don't see the point of these threads. Yes, they both survived attacks that should have killed them. And? They are the main characters, it's practically their job to stay alive until nearly the end.
