After watching the newest episode, I wondered who was the 3rd Raikage's Tag team partner. Is it Aoba? Or does he not have one, and that's why Aoba said, "Looks like it won't happen this time either." Or by saying this, was he referring to another failed attempt at finding A a partner? Your responses are greatly appreciated.

It could be Darui, given the fact that he was the only one to inherit the black lighting from him. I'm assuming that there's more to it than just handing him the black lighting, something of a connection with them. Although, I could be just making random guesses haha.

Ok put fun and jokes a side, its either Darui or his son. that was the 3rd's riakage partner. i mean he obtain the black lightning from him. but in the arc with the hachibi it was his son who was teaming up with him so, its more likely to be A than me, i mean Darui
