Okay, first off I'd just like to say that i've been reading on here for about 2 years, but just got the urge to register today and this is my first post.
I know we're all a little tired of Time line misshaps, but the latest few chapters have brought something up that bothers me. Genma
Its common knowledge that Kakashi was the only prodigious student in his class. yet Genma ( a class member) came to be a body guard for the Yondaime. Now its true even people who aren't prodigious can become elite shinobi, but at the time of Minato's death Genma was only 13-14 (29 or 30 - 16). Genma only became a chunnin at AGE 13! How could he possibly go from recently promoted chunnin to body guard for the hokage AND able to learn the basics of FTG in a matter of months to a year at most? How?

Genma, on the start of the series is 30 years old, minus the the 12 years when Minato died, Genma is 18 at Minato's death. :y :D

Was he? I was going off the fact that in general everyone in a class is the same age (ie k11 - neji). Considering that kakashi, guy, obito, rin, asuma, and kurenei are the same age and genma was their classmate that he would be their age or only a year older. still making him 13, 14, or 15... still ridiculous to think he matured that much in such a small time frame. We don't know that, do we. . . . . . . . . we only saw them all standing in front of the Ninja Academy and, in there, not everyone is the same age. There are younger and older students. What I mean is, like our school grades, there are ones that are upper grade, which are older, and lower grades in wich the students are younger.
Genma could have been in the Academy before them.
Also, Asuma, Kurenai and Ibiki are one year older than Kakashi, Guy, Obito and Rin. :y
