People just say it was the fox, but that is wrong. Naruto not only out smarted him, he was also able to control the 9 tailed fox chakra during the battle. Even the 3rd hokage was impressed with this, and he was wondering how he learned it, and thought that it was Kakashi. It was in fact Jiraya of course. Even Jiraya was amazed when he trained Naruto and saw how much of the chakra he could bring out (when he summoned giant toad boss first time, and gave him the name BOSS xD ) anyway people keep saying Naruto only relay on the fox chakra, but in most moments of his child hood he was able to control it. Even against sasuke he controlled it when making a tail, and according to the 3rd that should be very difficult.

That is no contradiction. Don't get me wrong, my point is that people say Naruto hasn't accomplished anything without the fox chakra, well that may be true, but Naruto pulled out the chakra himself and used it himself in the exam, and also in many other situations, till the tails start appearing and he loses more and more control. Relying on the fox chakra and using it is different, cause Jiraya taught Naruto to bring it out that was when he summoned Boss toad first time.. He could have spent his training learning something else, but why do that when you have the fox inside you it would be obvious to learn using it. He was relying on his own strength and part of it was the ability to use the fox chakra without losing control. Cause if he lost control obviously he had no chance to become chunin anyway...

So tell me how Madara kills Oro? Jiraya sage mode can avoid mokuton, Oro doesn't care to be stapped 1000 times he still lives.. Tsunade the same will just regenerate. Huge summonings to fight susanoo, Jiraya got all sorts of jutsu in sage mode. They know eachother since academy = better team work. Oro is a genius...
