When Obito invaded Konoha Do you think..

Do you think he was actually fighting minato at his best/seriously Or his motive was just to summon the fox on the village? and bear in mind he has the MS at this point.

I highly doubt he was fighting minato seriously. Obito's Genjutsu is strong enough to actually kill the opponent (vs Konan)

Being that Minato has no knowledge of Uchiha's secret technique's A simple 'Izanagi + Tsukyomi that could kill' combination should catch him off guard.

he didn't expect to fight minato... ( or yes maybe.. but he knew that kushina had the kyuubi and the seal was getting weak at the right time....

his goal was just to take the nine tails out from kushina and destroy konoha

I think he was willing to beat/kill Minato. But i also think that he thought he would not need his full potential to do it.
As you remember, he and Minato fought and Obito said "i win". perhaps it was his full potential, perhaps not, we can't tell
BTW: i don`t believe that he had his full skill reportoire at that moment. Between now and then are like 15 years (For Izanagi, not Kamui)

My thing is, if that was his teacher, how did he not know about FTGJ Lvl 2? I mean you'd think he'd know that right? I'm just saying I feel as though if that was Obito (Whom I'm still calling Tobito) he should have been better prepared to fight Minato.

p.s. If you can stop/alter the distribution of Minato's seals, he's useless :/ Obito should have known this. I could understand him playing stupid about "how fast Minato was" to fill the Madara perspective role, but still come on now >.>.

Yeah.. I think he knew he would fight Minato. He wouldn't think Minato would just let him take his son as hostage. He had probably planned his invasion pretty well. He knew where Kushina was giving birth to Naruto and he must've known Minato was there as well. He probably didn't think Minato would out smart him (or figure out his new technique) as fast as he did. Maybe he thought he was way stronger than he actually was.

obito cant beat minato, if he is attacking kushina minatos wife you think he wasnt expecting to run into minato? gtfo, obito has become arrogant like madara and he totally underestimated minato. obito came after minato once the kyuubi was in the villege, thought he could one shot him with a surprise attack and got smacked, because he didnt take the time to analyze minatos strength.
