Do you find Kishi sexist?
I wanted to do this thread because of a small argument I saw in another thread, but do you think Kishi puts women in the story just to be gawked at? In my opinion, Kishi isn't blatant enough about his anime women to be called a sexist. what's your opinion?

Never saw argument like this in connection with DBZ. Naruto is much better in this aspect.

I think Kishi said he wasn't good at drawing girls. He just draws what he's good at.

Re: Do you find Kishi sexist?
Yes he only makes whiny,*****y,problematic women characters while all male are powerful like they come from the DragonBall universe with all the amazing characteristics(Brave,Good friend,Has a group of girls like them etc etc).
All the women in Naruto are secondary characters whose power is measured by the perimeter of their boobs.

But honestly, Kishi has been tame compared to most anime, and the top ten argument is petty lame, again I ask, have you ppl seen ghost in the shell? a sexbot fights crime, seriously though, I find calling him sexist a bit of a stretch, with all his time balancing out characters and what not, and all of the females aren't like that

Re: Do you find Kishi sexist?
Nah, there are two women Kages, he makes them too important for him to be sexist. He just doesn't know how to handle women characters so resorts to typical character types eg. female characters that just love to attack the male, characters with big chests for the fanservice aspect, female healers which is often the case etc.

The serie is a Shonen, not a Seinen
Also, like some mentioned already, he made two women Kages. Another one was an Akatsuki member - Akatsuki existed only out of S ranked criminals.
He isn't a sexist; he just had problems portraying women well, though he did well with Tsunade, Mei, Hinata, Temari, Kushina and Konan for example.
