Sasuke and gaara are equal

Well, I guess it makes sense that this thread was started by Gaara.

gaara is strong but at the present moment and even before he obtained ems sasuke was greater than gaara. Sasuke attacks are peircing attacks, and pierce whatever they hit.ex. chidori( all variants) and susanoo arrow. These moves will undeniably pierce gaara's defence. Gaara happens to stay put whenever he fights and he barely moves, because of this he happens to be arguably one of the slower characters in the show. This is why his defence is so powerful. People like to say gaara will fight sasuke from the skies but they also forget sasuke has a summoning that is a hawk.

People like to use the fact that gaara pulled madara out of his susanoo that gaara is greater than susanoo sasuke. People happen to forget the fact that onooki lightened gaara's sand and that is why he was able to pull madara out from his susanoo. Without onooki gaara can't do anything to sasuke while he is in susanoo. The truth is one shot from susanoo arrow is enough to end gaara. Susanoo arrow pierces whatever it is aimed at. It even pierced danzo's wood element tree and wood element>sand. Gaara's strong but sasuke is stronger.

He can redirect it like danzou used wood to do. Also a>b>c doesnt work in the narutoverse, everything is balanced and equal.
Also, it took a susano'o sword so why cant it take sasuke's susano'o sword?

what i stated wasn't a>b>c logic, what i stated was that susanoo arrow practically pierces anything it is aimed at and as off currently is 100% piercing meaning when shot it pierces.

Susanoo arrow is different than madara's susanoo sword and the meteorite. Susanoo sword pierces and as such does not have alot of brutal power, while madara's skill are meant to cause brutal damage. Sasuke's moveset are practically piercing moves with the exception of a few. Gaara's sand would be pierced by any of sasuke piercing moves. Gaara's sand is good in dealing with something that is trying to cause brutal damage i.e. when he defended against deidara bombs and raikage kick but in terms of something that is meant to pierce it doesn't defend well i.e sasuke's chidori pierced through it during the chunin exam and kimmaro fingertip bone shot with through its defence but it didn't have enough piercing damage so it was slowed down and stopped before it went completely through(as shown when it got through but fell to the good).

Gaara's sand redirecting sasuke's susanoo arrow is unlikely sense danzo's wood element is much denser which through of the path of the arrow. Gaara's sand isn't as dense as danzo's wood element so the arrow would simply go through the sand and either kill or critically damage gaara.

P.s. im sure their is a better word than brutal to describe a technique that tries to greater damage to the body as a whole but I can't think of it at the moment. Moves that try to alot of damage to the body as a whole are different than moves that power are concentrated into piercing their opponent.
I guess a good example from another universe would be Goku's kamahamaha and piccolo's special beam cannon, one completely destroys its opponent the other leaves a big hole in their opponent. One can be blocked and deflected while the other is unblockable.

Sasuke is currently stronger than Sasuke mainly because Kishi stated himself Naruto = Sasuke always. I highly doubt Naruto is equal to Gaara, but don't get me wrong. Gaara is extremely powerful and is worthy of being in top 20 maybe top 15.
