Who is faster ? Sasuke or Kakashi

Sasuke has a 4.5 in speed so does kakashi.

However sasuke was able to outspeed deidara in their battle who also had a 4.5 in speed.

Sasuke's shunshin is slightly ahead and the databook used a hyperbole there to describe it as well.

Besides on feats he has fought itachi, bee who are both half a tier above kakashi in speed, itachi definitely with a 5 and Bee too which is my opinion.

So yea, Sasuke is faster than kakashi, marginally.

Note: Speed in databook includes both movement speed and reaction speed. It is the former that seems to be higher for sasuke imo in light of his battles.

And going by feats, kakashi has more instances of being the slower of the two if we consider part 1 as well.

I'm sure that if Kakashi was able to handle Hidan in close combat, then dodging a huge scale of fuuton attack in mid-air(while handling Hidan), and almost in a blind spot(surprised attack), then quickly come and save Choji and Shikamarus ass against Raiton gian, all that in quick succession, then it means that Kakashi is fast enough to dodge those attacks you're talking about:

Actually it was even a 2vs1, in the contrary of Sasuke who was fighting only one opponent, and the timing of their attack was almost perfect. They said it themselves. Kakashi was the first one to survive that. I never said Sasuke wasn't fast, but problem is that Kakashi is fast also. Kakashi will also dodge C1 and C2 bombs. But he will not dodge the slightly faster and larger C2 bomb that clipped sasuke's wing.

Same for sasuke. He will also manage to evade kakuzu or hidan combo attacks.

Those are both reactionary feats from sharingan. Just looking at who can dodge what is not the best way to ascertain speed because of a number of factors.

Someone with battle experience and decent taijutsu with precision of movement will evade an attack even in close range than someone with superior speed and bad taijutsu.

Speed was outright stated to be 'movement+ reaction' speed in DB.

Sharingan takes care of the latter. While body speed for both is approximately equal.

That said, going by feats, in terms of who can use shunshin to enhance former, sasuke marginally eclipses kakashi.

Sasuke is probably a lil faster. Both are quite decent at movement but sasuke was shown doing this body flicker type movement when he first met naruto after part 1 and against deidara(in the anime dont remember if it was in the manga) so ill go with sasuke

No way is Kakashi faster than Sasuke. Sasuke speed blitzed Naruto,DeiDera,Killer Bee and even A who is really fast.
So obviously Sasuke has better speed feats.

I say sasuke because whenever kakashi fought itachi. Itachi always left kakashi reacting last minute but when sasuke fought itachi for the last time sasuke kept up in speed, handsigns and even weapon speed. Using that i will say sasuke is faster than kakashi

I'd say they were equal, but if I had to choose I'd go with Kakashi. He kept up with 6th Gated Guy against the Jinks without using the Gates himself, I don't think Sasuke could do that.

Notice that even though they were attacking enemies who were right next to each other, Kakashi still managed to make it there at the same time Guy did. Like a boss.
