The fastest shinobi

Ok people say that Ay is the fastest shinobi alive. Well if we think a little his speed comes from a jutsu and The Eight Gates are a jutsu. So when someone unlockes the Eight Gate he gets power beyond the 5 kages : http://naruto.wikia.com/wiki/Eight_Gates read. So maybe Gai is the fastest shinobi alive.

I am talking about shinobies that are alive at this point. And yes Naruto is really fast but we are talking about Raikage and Gai.

I think you guys are misinterpreting what the OP's saying. He said that A is the fastest Shinobi alive. Minato's not alive. However, Naruto's still faster.

But it hard to say if guy is faster than a, we don't know how much more power every gates gives the user - if it just a little or base-power^level gate... but I could imagine that they are equal, or guy a little bit faster

No I want, it only says it's better than all the other, not if it just better than the 7th(which is better than the 6th, which is better than the 5th etc. etc.) or better than all previous combined... But since it kills the user it should logically be better than A, or it would be pretty darn a waste of life in my opinion

EDIT now that I think of it, didn't you aswer you own post? if it grants powers beyond the 5 kages, it grants power beyond A, and should therefore be faster than A...

we dont know yet, cant jump to conclusions, but your right if doesn't makes him faster than A and it kills him, its pretty a waste, unless the 8th gate carries some ninjutsu, along with it. or its bigger size tiger than of that

Wanna know how fast one would be in the 8th gate? Think of how fast Lee was in just the 4th gate when he blitzed Gaara, then exponentially increase that speed by two at least and you have the speed lf the 5th gate. Do the same for the 5th,6th,7th, and 8th gate.
