What is the most influential book you've read?

Not necessarily your favorite; which book has broadened your perspective, angered you, inspired you, made you feel a tangible, powerful drive to succeed, take action for/against something, etc? Basically, what moves you?

I'm split between Catch-22, and Crime and Punishment for mine. Real, shocking, powerful works.

      What about y'all?

Great books, though I'm sure you already knew that. And lol, Twilight is a precursor to porn, not a book.

1984. That should be all. Love that book. So much. The ending had me flipping. It really did. So horribly perfect.

Good to see someone else appreciates "Master Sun's" great work. "Know the Enemy and know thyself; find naught to fear in a hundred battles. Know thyself, but not thy enemy, find victory and defeat in equal measure. Know neither the enemy nor thyself, find defeat at every turn."

For me it was Harry Potter, I started reading them when I was about 7, and it made me fall in love with reading. Besides HP, I think the books we do with English like Animal Farm, I Will Marry When I Want and Master Harold... and the boys.

Love Harry Potter. Ironically hated em at first cause they were so popular...then I actually read the books. . And the books were the only reason I kept doing AP English. They were so awesome.
