They got wiped out during the war, because they were feared if I recall correctly.

granted we've only seen four but they are four very beastly people.
and then theres mito in the past.
some uzumaki feats:
surviving having their bijuu extracted
possessing such a vitality and regenerative power that kabuto is practically immortal after obtaining karins power
survived being impaled in the chest by chidori spear
and according to kushina, they were masters of fuinjutsu which we saw taught to minato. this made him even more OP than he already was.
mito was the only person to seal 100% bijuu into herself in the middle of a battle. according to obito she could sense negative emotions. possibly a trait gained when you mix uzumaki with kyuubi
kushina had chakra chains and a very strong special chakra which was enough to catch the attention of third raikage.
naruto is able to spam thousands of clones without resorting to kyuubi chakra, and handle SM based on the strength of his own chakra levels. which is why only he and kabuto can do it. it all comes back to uzumaki vitality and chakra force.

so i ask you, with fuinjutsus, long life, and massive chakra life force how did anyone destroy them?

they are still alive just scattered after their village was destoryed and my best guess is it was a joint effort to take them down

even if an entire village attacked them they had a whole village of their own and I doubt the village that attacked them were able to take on ALL the uzumakis own and kill them..Im with some people on top I think we are going to see alot of uzumakis appear during the war or when the finals battle actually begin cause if I recall all the ninjas are scattered all over the map so it would not be a surprise if they found a hidden village and who better than to be able to hide a village so well but the uzumakis the people who are masters of summoning techniques and seals and stuff (:

my guess is that it was a surprise attack and probably a joint effort and im not sure if there village was as big as konoha or something could be wrong also they weren't all wiped out but forced to flee as there village was destroyed
but i do hope the uzumakis have a big role in the story as kishis been hinting at characters being uzumaki and whats the point if its not gonna benifit the story so please please kishi do something great with uzumaki.

also do you think karin may join narutos side after she escapes as i was reading volume 52 and when karin 1st meets naruto she say so that's uzumaki naruto instead of naruto so karin could know that she is uzumaki but kishi didn't want to reveal that she was at that point just a thought

more like uzumakis declared war on a more powerful military and lost. kushina said they were savage and warlike. maybe they tried taking on kumo and third raikage was able to defeat them alongside the previous hachibi jin
